Junior Reps 2021

Who was the gun player/s we snagged from the Bulldogs at the start of the year? Not being able to play footy would be killing these blokes in the junior/lower grades. Just hope we are able to hold onto them long enough for them to actually see some air amongst first grade before all the other parasite clubs like Roosters come swooping in.

Small world however I recently found out my Parents are friends with their Grand Mother. Their parents moved them over from the Bulldogs to us as after meeting with many clubs we showed the best pathways to manage their teenage years. Apparently the club is getting a very good reputation amongst the juniors.

They are loving their time here and believe they’ve made the right move.

Here is a snippet about a schoolboy player on the Tigers' radar from this story:

https://www.couriermail.com.au/questnews/sport/top-60-schoolboys-from-gps-aic-rugby-langer-league/news-story/e52884a792ca0581ba4ebd255ad52bd1

56. Junior Taungatua (Wavell SHS)
Note this name. He comes in at No. 57 but only because his Langer Trophy season was ruined when he was injured helping Met North win the Queensland schools state title in May. He is a promising mobile middle forward who is on the Wests Tigers’ radar.

The story on top 20 will probably be tomorrow so will keep an eye out on into on the Keebra prop Herman & Marsden captain.
