Tumeth, Matamua, Tannous, O’Kane, Saukuru, Peni, Hill, Pole, Guyan and Roberts to train with first-grade at the beginning of pre-season.

Most of these players have progressed "under the radar". It's a long time since we've had a try scoring second row forward like Tumeth. O'Kane looks a prospect and Peni was rated an outstanding prospect at Keebra Park. Roberts I know is rated highly in the Illawarra. It is surprising the Steelers lost him. Anyway with all the negative stuff about 1 Nov, there is lots of positive changes at the club in the SG Ball, Flegg and KOE grades.

I just read the Port Macquarie News and Selwyn Smith is a very mobile ball playing second row forward. He seems to be the Ian Russell type of clever Indigenous forward. I can't wait to see him play.

Can we try and build a link with a Qld Cup side .......couldn't hurt .....Ipswich maybe ....link with Tommy as a former coach ......pretty sure the link with the Titans is gone now ....

That is a solid clip. Runs a good line, has a pass on him, doesn't mind the tough stuff and has some pace. Plenty to like.

OKane will hopefully be what he hoped Garner might become but never has. A hard running back rower that hits gaps at pace

Looks like Lomi Saukuru must have picked up an arm/shoulder injury and has undergone surgery (from his instagram story).Hopefully a speedy recovery for him!

Watching a game of him on YouTube the other night. Man he was an intimidating no nonsense large second rower. Was doing all the tough stuff doing the first run of a tap ect. Him and Gareth Ellis best second row combo we have had.
