Just Heard On 2GB Unrest in West Tigers Camp

The whole Farah to Parra rumour started because of this July 8, 2011 DT article…

"_**Why he gets top billing today even after a spirited press conference which saw Wests Tigers coach Tim Sheens slam the media, Eels coach Stephen Kearney denying reports his club had signed Willie Tonga and Robbie Farah, well, he simply wanted everyone to "judge us at the end of the year".**_"

They a 3 different statements within the one paragraph but because someone misread it and decided it was _**“Eels coach Stephen Kearney denying reports his club had signed Willie Tonga and Robbie Farah”**_ instead of separating the two statements… _**“Eels coach Stephen Kearney denying reports his club had signed Willie Tonga”**_ and _**“Robbie Farah, well, he simply wanted everyone to "judge us at the end of the year"**_, the rumour began.

it was then used as a joke on a forum in response to players leaving the club and numerous rumours of others leaving at the time and it just went viral, then Dean Ritchie used it months later for his article on Farah and Sheens during the Kangaroo tour….

A case of a misread article, a single forum post not being read in the context of the entire thread, a DT hack using the info months later for a gutter trash article and things go viral.

Every year and every time we aren't doing well on the field, this rumour rears it's head, I'll believe it when players request to get out of their contracts.

Maybe the rumours will get worse, Joe, if we win well on Monday night with Benji on the field and Farah not on it, if you know what I mean.

Frankly though, I've had enough of them too - I feel like I'm living 2011 all over again!

Flippedy I know what you mean. Maybe people have nothing better to do so they make all these rumors up.

If Benji and Robbie didnt get along do you think that Robbie would of been one of the first to celebrate with benji when he kicked the FG against the sharks.

im not making anything up or spreading a rumour , check their forum out just saying what is in black and white , and gnr4life if you cant handle rumours dont read them , i think you only want to see what you think only on here

I hadnt seen that article before, easy to misread it tho

I'd sooner take notice of No Idea and Womans monthly than bloody 2GB - tabloid trash.
