Just remember this about those players leaving.....

Regardless of who did what and what theyve now ended up with, the entire thing has been handled very very poorly by those in charge, this has painted our club in a bad light, has seen our coach and CEO acting inappropriately and the team perform poorly…..hopefully those in charge have learnt some valuable lessons from their mistakes

If the Club allows Bryce Gibbs to run out on Saturday Night, this will look very very poorly by those in charge. After his comments, it is totally inappropriate to allow him to be wearing the Jersey and represent this Club any further.

Humphries needs to make this happen if he wants to be considered a good operator!!!

Basically?
What did it really say?

Yes, I noticed the disclaimer the quote was not exact, but in any case, does it really matter or even justify Humphreys not allowing him to play?

Gibbs would know people on here would read his facebook page. You cannot take it seriously.

When do you take it seriously Gary? When he missus his first tackle, his second or gives away a stupid penalty in front of the posts???

The only thing we can take seriously, is Gibbs probably doesnt want to be here!

Him and liam know they have an audience all the time…most players tell groupies just what they wanna hear, Bryce and liam tell them what THEY want them to hear.

Probably when he writes an article in a paper that is akin to verbal diarrhea blaming faceless people of a conspiracy against him.

Look out Bryce, your tackle counts will be closely monitored tomorrow night

Fair dinkum watto, watch that stretched bow its likely to snap and flick u in the eye

So, you monkeys are happy for a player to take the field in our jumper who doesnt want to be there, yet want to take aim at our CEO and Coach for our poor on-field performance???

Dont let go of what your stretching Ink, if you do, you may turn into Lady GaGa!

Monkeys?

Only monkeys I can see are those being sucked in by a known practical joker ….an old saying along the lines of "dont believe everything you read" may be some sound advice here.

But yeah I guess if he misses a tackle or gives away a penalty (something that happens in every game) you'll feel mighty justified
Watch closely now.
Report back tomorrow nite.

Fair dinkum!!!

I am completely in agreement with the author of this thread. The club would have honoured all contracts had the players in question not got offers that were acceptable. I have no problem in a club allowing a player to negotiate with another club provided, if agreement can't be reached, the player continues with the club he is contracted to. Thats what the management aimed to do so there is no credibilty issue here at all. Could things have been handled better ? Too hard for me to say as I'm not close enough to it. But if you are bent on signing a player to improve the club then you have to take whatever action is necessary to make it happen. The reality is that this is the Rugby League world we live in and the players should be professional enough to be able to deal with it.
