It's a new knee injury the club is claiming the opposite one to the storm injury that's right, should be medically retired other clubs have got away with more dodgy calls than ours, even our own Ben Matulino had a dodgy knee when he signed and he was retired.

We have enough back ups. We need to work on getting the best out of them.

We have 4 players who played for us during the spoon years playing for Penrith, we have 5-6 players who played with us playing for Manly who are Top 6.

We have the squad and to be fair, I feel we have always had the squad good enough to not come last. I hope the coaching staff can get the best out of "average" players.

Those players are the same as they were for us. Average squad players. We just haven’t had superstars to drag them along.

But I've always wanted one of those birds. I was petrified of my Auntie's one as a 3-4 yo but grew to love it.
My ex wife wouldn't let me have one but my partner of over 20 years now has no problem with them. I'd be over the moon if I could get a Magpie one 😁.

Definitely a great player in his prime. Unfortunately he hasn't been at his peak for us. This is probably the best option ofr both parties. I wish him well as I am sure he will pick up a key role in the new PNG club.

I wonder if the club plans to keep him as an ambassador considering PNG coming into the NRL.. He could do wonders over there for us as a club and junior recruitment.

On the other hand it’s a blessing in regards to opening up another spot… now just need to get the right people to fill them.

Did so much for the game for PNG. Met him in Tamworth last year and was a nice dude. Met and chatted to Bateman as well, who lets just say is a different cat haha

I have always had a great deal of respect for Justin and wish him all the success he deserves in his career (whatever it is) in the future.I would have loved to have had the pleasure of watching him play for us 5 years ago.
He has earnt my respect since coming to Australia and proven that if you are good enough you will make it in the toughest football contact sport in the world.
