Justin poore

Poore depending on price could be perfect for us, take the work load of Buchhanan. It is too big an ask to make BUchanan play big minutes all season.

I remember when Lewis said he was going to the Sharks, he said he changed his mind on the morning when he was supposed to sign with the Tigers. I would also sign Poore but would rather sign Rose as long as we dont pay him by the Kilo.

It's not a very fair thing to say given his circumstances, but gee I hope he's fit … could very well turn out to be Jason Cayless Mark II. The Parra medical staff skimped and butchered his knee - that's why he had such extended periods on the sideline.

Just because Poore has ' experience ' doesn't make him a good player. I have seen enough of him..no thanks. And Galloway knocked back Wests Tigers first offer ! he can't expect too much he doesn't play a full season.

Currently on our ranks we have

Galloway
Woods
Buchanan
Bell
Ava
Groat
Gravet

If Galloway agrees to another contract we have enough props in our ranks and Ava and Buchanan are better for 2013's experience. Groat and Gravet once back will be playing for 2014 contracts.

Let's get someone like Greg Eastwood who is off contract, young and very aggresive. He has enough size to play prop as well as backrow. We need his aggression.

Poole would be a waste signing in my opinion.

We really need to buy Eastwood then turn our attention to buying some speedy and damaging backs. Only Koro and Teddy (once he is playing full back) would worry other teams. On current form I could not see Lawrence, Ashyford, Reddy and Marshall getting a run in any top eight side. Moltzen has been good this year and has some pace but Teddy is a better full back.

galloway is basically out for the season afaik.. or the majority of it anyway.

this is gonna place a lot of workload on our young props, which can eventually break them. we need someone to hold up one end with woods. i dont think buchanan, gavet, groat, ava or akoula are one of them. bell is an option, but during rep season or if woods or bell get injured, we are in deep deep trouble. we have worked a lot on our ruck work and seen the results, this could set us back a lot.

atm, there is no guarantee that galloway is gonna be with us next year either.. it opens up the possibility of enticing someone with a two year contract.

I would love to see us sign a big Prop, some one with a bit of dirt in them, How good would George Burgess be, I know he is still under contract to Souths. What i am getting @ is a Prop who weighs about 115 - 120 kilos & yes not easy to find.

The Tigers' search for a front-rower has reached desperate lengths. With several of their big men out with long-term injuries, the club is now looking to England - and former Eels and Dragons prop Justin Poore. The 28-year-old Poore is currently with the struggling Wakefield club and is believed to be keen to return home.

From Zero Tackle.

He has good pedigre.

Aust Schoolboys….NSW 2009.

I thought he didnt get much of a go at Parra and was injured as well.

Def leftfield but could pay off.He is big and aggressive.

I suggested the club should sign Tom Burgess last season.

Good luck signing any Burgii brother until Rusty grows tired of them. The entire family including their mum has bought into the cult of Rabbitohs hook line and sinker.

The second one of them signs elsewhere, watch Rusty lose his bundle though.

Poore is a dud. We dont want him. Big guy that lacks go forward, no determination. Please stay away from him Tigers Recruitment

Gotta agree…
We simply can do better.

This guy will struggle
Ala LUKE O'DONNEL.

Theres reserve graders w/ first grade experience @ every club wanting a chance for a full time stop.
Should be easy for them to seek a release, if we really wanted to take a gamble.

Well he has been sent off twice for punching blokes in 12\. Matches in super league that is the kind of aggression many on here have been begging for

I cant see a problem in signing this bloke as a Prop to settle into a rotation with Buchanan if he isnt asking too much…

As far as a Prop goes, he would be ahead of Ava; Gavet; BMM, Groat & Pettybourne... BMM & Eddie are backrowers and are simply not as effective playing tight.

boon boon2 theres a difference between agression and ill discipline.

He'd ease the work load on the rest of our blokes, thats about it…but his last few years havent been much

Ink I don't disagree but many here were calling for Thompson to come in and a lot mentioned because of the agression he showed in NSW cup which was punching a halfback in the head.

I think Poore would be a great signing - experience, size, only 28 and a few years ago (09) he was the NSW Origin front rower for all 3 games. He had a bad injury at Parra and was slow to recover in what was a horrible team with a horrible coach that made many good players look horrible

I think alot are just sceptical considering our history of signing Props like Cayless & O'Hara… Maybe this might be the one who goes on and becomes a star?!
