He has played for the Broncos, QLD, Australia as well as working under the 2 best coahes every. If he is avaialble and we dont sign him the board should be sacked immediatley.
Cheers

It would be foolish in the extreme to appoint Walters. This team is about to enter a transitional period, involving a different style of play and having to accommodate three strong willed alpha males in the starting line up. You don't employ a rookie to manage that, you need someone like Folkes, more than equipped to keep Farah, Marshall and Anasta on track

@Demonborger said:lol, so a new coach wanting to establish himself as a first grade coach will come to us to deliberately sabotage our club?
Former opinions and allegiances are irrelevant in this professional era, i don't care if our new coach was a former balmain man, or a former hater. All that matters is if he can manage our football department well and build the club to win premierships and achieve top 4 finishes.
As for Walters, while he doesn't seem the worst of candidates, the fact that he focuses on only the attack as a Storm coach is a concern. Also modern coaches are more along the lines of managers and its about not only themselves but also how they run the entire football department (including support staff). The modern trend is towards building a professional culture within the club and bringing it together as one with every part coming together to help improve the on field performances.
