What?! Why?

With COVID there’s the risk players would be out from that plus at one point we had a few injuries in the back line. We had to use Hoffman who’s another development player so we couldn’t afford to have Bradley out too

It’s quite common for players to train and play through injury and have surgery at the back end of the season, happens at every single club

If he’s at roosters it happens immediately when he is not required (before the Parra game), if this is true only adds to my feeling that WT are being run by a second rate leadership.

I haven’t seen that happen. Players wait until the season ends to get surgeries, like I said it’s very common. Clubs don’t run the risk of not having players available if there’s games left still and they play through injury

His season was over when he wasn’t picked in the 21 for rd 20

He had surgery at the 16th October, or possibly beforehand according to his social media, so not that long after the final game. He would’ve had to see doctors, get his surgery booked in etc. so it’s not bad really

Yeah ok, thought he was still waiting, surely a development player needs a pre-season as much as anyone

Hopefully he is not out too long. Has a good frame on him maybe with some work could become a solid first grader, so hard to tell with the young guys sometimes

Madge has a record of getting the best out of young guys, being from that Bellamy system, it’ll be interesting to see how much we improve next year. I’d be extending Madge ASAP.

More than McIntyre, some improved some didn’t. More an indication of who’s buying into the coach and who’s suited to his coaching style and who’s not and needs to be babied a little more. Madge will have to figure out the balance of it all.

If Madge had Bradley anywhere in his plans, I can't see why he wouldn't of got a run at some stage this year. We used Jennings, Nofo, Kespoa, Talau and Hoffman as it was and there was a few stages (particularly before AJ signed) that we were crying out for a good winger to come in. If Madge liked him, he would of given him a game at some stage..particularly that last month when we were done.

Brooks, Talau, Blore, Garner to name a few went backwards.
The truth is players talk and Maguire doesn't have a good reputation so recruitment is majorly affect. If we don't start well next season he'll be gone before the season is finished.

If he’s at the roosters they have a couple of internationals they can drop in before they need to look at development players.

Every club plays injured players

Yeah - nah. not sure I agree with much of that at all.

Brookes has always been the same
Talau went from cc to first grade regular in a new position
Garner was only ever a hole runner
Blore had a busted knee - 12 months needed to get back from that at least

Didn’t someone mention , he’s being groomed for a back row spot ?
Maybe it’s shifted to that , which means eating more , lifting heavier , not to mention , re learning all prior knowledge and new systems .

Garner bounced around as well , when you’re a big boy who can run fast , everyone has an idea where you’re best suited . Sounds like ,
The wing experiment is over and he’s now ? an edge backrower.

Who?
Brooks, Talau, Blore, Garner to name a few went backwards.
The truth is players talk and Maguire doesn't have a good reputation so recruitment is majorly affect. If we don't start well next season he'll be gone before the season is finished.

Talau went from reserve grade to first grader and Blore on debut with no pre season was excellent.
Aloiai, Nofa, Eiso, Doueihi, Twal before his injury, Mikaele before his injury, Luciano, McIntyre And Musgrove all did well and will hopefully continue their improvement into next season.

Just a shame there was no reserve grade to see how the younger guys went

I’m really praying there’s reserve grade next season. Will be very important for us considering how much Madge is wagering in youth

Would’ve been too hard for the guys who aren’t in the top 30 but play reserves. They probably couldn’t afford to stay in a bubble and not work all season long. Hopefully with the virus seemingly slowing down there can be some leeway with it next season

There’s no reason every other comp couldn’t have run though like under 20’s, SG ball etc.

Is there a reason why EVERY RL highlight video has to have either ridiculous dance music or hip hop crap playing over the top of it?

And how is catching the ball and running 2 metres to put it down a "highlight"?
