they deserve everything that comes their way. A joke of a club headed by a board that have made Fitzgerald look like a legend. I have no pity for anyone who wants to be involved with a club like that. The board needs to go and start from scratch.

The next coach will have the same issues as long as the board remains as is i feel

I'm no fan of Manly, but they have a better structure in place than the Eels and I daresay he's made a bit of a booboo in joining what can only be described as an inept mess of a club.

the board needs punting , and about half their players , there is enough players on the market to make a fairly competative team , kearny would have been fine with decent players , i also feel for hindmarsh

Yep, that was his last game. His assistant coach (can't remember his name, maybe Arthurs?) will take over for the rest of the season.

The numbers tell the story in coaching. Over the long term, you need results. 10 wins from 42 games. That's terrible.

They haven't been unlucky either. Some teams constantly lose tight games but Parra have dished up terrible footy the last year and a half. The team has no attacking structures whatsoever. What kind of coach tries to out grind teams and not focus on scoring points what you have Hayne, Sandow and Moi Moi in your line up? It's just baffling.

Kearney is gone, I doubt he'll get another gig in Australia, he might get something over the the SL. When only Souths coaches from 10 years ago are worse than you, there is no future for your career.
