that miss on Beau Ryan the other night….
no not miss but WATCHING as beau ran past literally

has anyone seen it
when Ryan made the break, got tackled, Wright - dummy half & spills the ball
that break

he must of been injured, tired or just plain lazy, or maybe he was just thinking about something.... who knows

Blair was the other one culprit. But Blair did make an attempt -

if it happens against the bulldogs they'll rip us a new one

i dont know
maybe some one has some inside information on this type of behavior.

Please do indulge.

I thought he was called out of the play by the ref for being offside

The Gallen try where Patterson just watches him was more concerning for me.

As is Lawrence continually coming out of the line and making the wrong decision/missing the man.

Did any one see Benji give up on a chase that led to a Parra try?
We'd be much worse with him in our team.Be thankful.

We definitely had issues in the middle last week.. stats show sharks game plan was to run up the middle all game. But we need to do better. I think us struggling in middle lately really shows how important gavet was off the bench…

Agree wholeheartedly, we have been missing him about as much as any other player. Our rotation has not worked nearly as well since he went off a couple of minutes into his stint the other week.

Sauce was called out of the play, but should have disregarded the ref.

We struggle with the pace of outside backs from DH. We need Robbie, Blair and someone more mobile in the middle when defending.

When is Galloway off contract?

2016

Oh jebus cripes…we should offload him

No we shouldn't

Exactly, no we shouldn't. He isn't as good as Woods and it shows but he is valuable to us. Whether or not he can tackle a winger doesn't worry me (but he was called out of it), as long as he can tackle other forwards and take the ball up, that will do me….for now.

Gavet has one of the highest miss tackle rates for a forward in the comp according to RLW.
I like Gavet's attitude and rate him, but him being out is not the reason we were weak in the middle in defense.
My view a few of our second tier players are starting to wane, thought Thompson and Ava have been worn down a bit by the weekly grind and were a bit down. in need of a break.

To be fair Goose, I think a good few of those that are marked as a miss, are only there because he shows such a urgency to get to a hole in the first place and just can't quite grab hold.

I think a fair amount of those misses is from him going so hard. He rushes up on them to smash them and can't control it enough to make the tackle. Is just his style of game, and I'm sure a Gavet rushing up to smash you still has some effect on the player even when he does miss haha

True Galloway should have tackled Ryan, even if he was called out of the play. It's a split-second decision, maybe Keithy gambled Ryan wouldn't break the line before he had made the 10 m.

But to hook him? There were worse missed tackles even on Sat night, let alone all the matches this year. Paterson on Gallen was already named, or Rowe not laying a glove on Gordon.
