Dallas did play for Australia, AHX - in 1978, I think.

Good work keithy…..

strange that they mentioned the prop curse, given the lack of kangaroos in general over the last 2 decades, i would have thought we had a curse in most positions!!! Fullback, winger, five eight, and second row curses to be broken next year!

v NZers
Something I didn't realise about Dallas he actually kicked 4 field goals according to the records
Why don't the other three get some footage on the Sunday Roast

Oh, and blocker was awesome.
The game has changed it is tough to compare eras, he was pretty mobile for his time, and very skillful.

I wonder how many props and hookers from the modern era would go against the likes of Roach and Donnelly with real scrums, not so good I'd imagine.

That said the speed of the modern game might rule out a few of the forwards of other eras!

what a great year galloway had, and to think there will hopefully be 8 or so more of them in a tigers jersey. his time has come…

the difference in props from the 80s and todays game is massive. when the 5m got changed to 10m it changed the role of props forever.

blocker was tough nut who made good charges but could also play before the line and offload.

today its all about tucking the ball under the arm, making 10m and getting a quick play the ball. you could count the props that offload in todays game in one hand.

you couldnt play like blocker did in todays game and you couldnt play like keith does in the 80s, the 5m simply wouldnt allow it.

Well deserved. I think keithy has the potential to be A champion prop.
He got stuck at cronulla early
In career and since be has donned the black gold and white he hasn't had a injury free season until this one.

Go keithy go!!

You beat me to it Flippedy, I watched Dallas play for Australia at the SCG, he was a great player, hard, tough as nails and walked with the tab guide in his back pocket when he wasn't playing (I'm told) I also watched Blocker play, again a great player, hard, tough as nails (not sure about the tab guide tough  sorry to be diplomatic AHX!! but both were great props in their time.
As for now, go BIG SAUCE you champion show em what you're made of, represent your family, your club and your country proud :sign:

Just hope he gets more of a chance than he did in Origin this year. Go get 'em Keith!

No worries about that Juro we don't have a dim witted fool coaching Australia unlike NSW have with Stuart

Interesting that Galloway is the only NSW prop in the side (excluding Gallen).

He should be the first prop picked for Origin.

Again HT the selectors for Australia are a lot different than the selectors for NSW
Australian selectors use common sense and logic
Not sure what the NSW selectors use
But you are right Keefy should be first prop picked for NSW

NSW selectors are a joke and could not pick their nose. NSW selectors have not had any foresight or vision for years. all the bs about sticking with players and picking players on form is fluff talk adnauseum.

Although I agree, we have to remember that the tour is picked on season-end form, not early season form like SOO. Nobody questioned the choice of Kade Snowden at Anzac Day or SOO 1 and see how long that fun of form lasted.

Snowden will be the premier prop this time next year!!!

Yeah Snowden has the right work ethic and Bennett the right man management skills
If Bennett can't help him find his best consistantly noone will
Wouldn't write off seeing Woods playing off the bench in SOO next season either
