Kelma Tuilagi Signs With Manly

I stopped reading that article where it said " offloading ability"
I have the ability to father 57 children, but I didn't, either.
Kelma runs hard, no doubt.
But he is poor in D, and has the offload ability of a statue.
But he does run hard.
Don't you love these journo's ? . . . 2 players leave and she has to tie her hands behind her back and put in a gag to stop herself declaring it an "Exodus !"
Or maybe that's a new word to her.

He literally offloaded for a try on the weekend, runs hard good lines and is far better than the alternatives we have. You know, the same stupid point that brooks fanboys use to defend his incompetence.

Gee, sorry Sparci. I wasn't aware that your dog got run over twice this morning.
I saw maybe 4 chances for an offload in promising situations, and that stuck in my mind.
It will never happen again.
Cheer up mate.

We’re just going to have deal with that bum we’re bringing from Parra and wish we still had the guy whose only played 5 games.
Take off your arguman hat bro, And actually ponder the reality of the situation (if even for a minute)

We short of quality backrowers right now - We're short!!
We're short without the injuries....

We're losing the 2 decent guys we have and replacing them with one good one for next year... But we're already short.
We have another off contract this year - Even if we want to keep him, We may not... and is he really a starting backrower anywhere but here?

Have a look at the quality / depth of Parras back row stocks last year
(And they're couldn't win the comp)
Penrith - Had an Origin quality backrower coming off the Bench.

Surely it's easier to keep the guys you have than to get the guys to come that aren't even here yet?

We're getting a top notch back rower - Yes, But we're still 2 Short (Probably 3)... There's not an abundance of them running around ATM, And even if there was - We're at best a 1/17 chance of getting them.

The salary cap in 2023 will be $10 million.

That averages to $333 000 per player for a 30 man squad. Obviously some are much lower, balanced out by several much higher.

However, to pay Kelma $500 00 a year, or 150% of the mean salary, for a quality starting backrower, would have been far from crazy in my opinion.

I'm very disappointed by this one.
That’s the thing tho he wasn’t a starting back row, he had just had his debut and was only 5 games in playing off the bench in limited minutes.

Thanks 4 posting

All clubs poach up and coming players.

Very sad to see Kelma leaving. At least he is leaving with some dignity.
Worst kept secret in NRL, it was on the radio, Manly's Zorba the Greek came out and said it weeks ago, but alas our media group is last to let it out, or have they?
Don't get me started with injury reports.
How's our HPC going, oh that's right, I forgot that the media releases for the club is usually pinned to one of the porta-loos there.
