Geez, pec injury on top of the ACL. Both terrible injuries and hopefully the extra time out helps the knee to full recovery.
The only saving grace is that he didn’t aggravate his current injury. Multiple leg injuries are so hard to come back from. They have ended a lot of young players careers. It’s why I worry a bit about Doueihi. If Benji had suffered leg injuries early in his career as opposed to shoulder injuries, he wouldn’t have lasted as long.
I fractured my shoulder and it isn't the same literally 6 months later. I have no idea how these guys comeback from the injuries they sustain.
I am guessing anyone PRO gets the treatment and physio they need. Robbie Farah's brother was a physio and does a lot of work on him.
If your Amateur, then sucks to be you. I vaguely remember a Manly Player Darling?? who injured his foot badly and kept playing on for a season. It was then revealed that the injuries were permanent and he would never play Rugby league again. Naturally we remember Tukali.
Hopefully with the Center of Excellence, we can give our young and old blokes a chance.
Yeah it's crazy how these guys come back within 9 months from an ACL. If Jo Blogs injures their ACL they probably have to quit their sport. You'll be lucky to be running within 2 years.
