Going on the presser post game....Madge aint making changes fellas.

"Great faith in the group...just need more repetition at training".

Saints next week should be an easy win, but the season was blown today IMO.

3 and 7...with by far the least amount of injuries of any club.

Madge won't change, and we will beat Saints.

That will be 4 and 7 and then Panthers / Eels / Storm / Bunnies

Likely by then 4 and 11 ...maybe 5 and 10. Madge is not the type to give up, but 4 and 11 = you are gone.

Logically, I think we will see mass changes by about round 16. Hopefully then we see the team start to get a core of Blore- Tuki-Tuilagi-Stefano-maybe get to see the likes of Fitzgibbon and Madden get some full games...build for 2022.

It is worth remembering Penrith finished 10th in 2019 and used the back end of that season to blood a ton of young players. Hopefully we do also.

Who says we’re beating the Dragons?
No way I’m tipping us again this year .

It pays that some of the dragons will probably have a holiday after tonight

Vaughan notably

I agree though...we’ll probably bumble and fumble our way to a courageous loss again

lets not wreck the kids in 2nds for a win in 1st

Yeah, no point rushing the kids into first grade before their time. This NRL season is done for us, let the current team finish wherever they deserve.

Interesting that Jake Simpkin and Shawn Blore played 19 and 15 minute stints respectively in the NRL, then both played for the Magpies the next day. Seems that Madge is readying them for bigger minutes at the end of the season. Giving them a tiny taste of first grade, then playing reserve grade the same round. They get a chance to practice what they learned.

Penrith needed a quality hooker ...got a quality hooker ...the rest is history

how much is a quality hooker these day's

That depends on how good a ball player they are
