Looking at the Tigers stats from last night, it's not hard to see where they went wrong. Not one forward made over 100 metres in attack. Heighno and Ellis were the best of the forwards with 94 and 90 metres respectively.

Matt Utai again topped the yardage for the Tigers and was the only player to make over 100 metres in attack with 117\. Kudos to Andrew Fifita who topped the tackle count with 35 and is really showing good fitness this season. Marshall added another 2 try assists to his name but was otherwise quiet.

Overall the team made 923 metres in attack and the completion rate was 71%. Not great reading and while the Titans only completed 70% of their sets, they made much more yardage with the ball in hand with 1295 which told the story in the end.

Andrew F really stepped up IMO. I love to see how many minutes he played.

Ellis and Heigno are great.

Fifita has definitely improved his defence but really need to use his body better with hitups. He is over reliant on his fend.

No one went forward especially after getting 14-0 up they just thought it was too easy and they could score whenever they wanted attitude and complacency lost us the game.

Fifita's improved defence is taking a toll on his impact with ball in hand.

As Southerntiger already stated, he is reliant on that fend of his and almost always runs sideways before hitting the line. He crabwalked a fair bit on Friday night.
