Kimmorley as a coach

I have listen to brett kimmorley on various footy shows and i think he is going to make a very good coach , having hasler at the dogs can only improve him , i think he may pop up as a chance at a club within 2 / 3 years

He's very analytical and fairly eloquent for a former footballer. I was never really a fan of his until he starting popping up in the media and I came to respect his ability to read the game.

Kimmorley may be able to analyse a game but he is anything but eloquent. He mumbles most of his words and trips over his tongue more often than not. His ability to build a sentence is about as good as my 2 year old's. And he looks like the title character from the movie Leprechaun.

gee mate thats a bit harsh . i think he will be a great coach in time .and we cant all be tall dark and hansome some of us are small fat and fugly :bash

Brett has a very good understanding of the game, but seeing things that others cant doesnt nessasary mean you can teach others to see it or do it…

I think Brett will need a long apprenticeship under a good mentor/leader before he will be ready for the coaching merry-go-round.

Definately worth the risk of hiring him as an Assistant and seeing where it leads...

He's the one player who would've steered us to another premiership.

I don't think he'll be a good coach. Halves, historically speaking, don't make good coaches. Obviously there'd be exceptions to the rule, but not many.

I was thinking the same in relation to Halves not making good coaches, as they normally dont.

The latest exception to that idea is Hasler… He is going great and seems to be able to get the best out of his players.
