Kimmorley outta here !!!!!

Fletch has been a loyal coach for the tigers for so long. Good luck to him where ever he may coach next.
Was never sold Kimmorley, I think he had too many media commitments to along with his coaching role.
I think Paul Stringer is decent who coached Wyong Roo's for a few years. Maybe NYC hopefully.
Need to get rid of Reddy and bring in 2-3 decent coaches esp 1 for our halves. I reckon David Penna would of been okay or he can always reach out to Toovey.

Totally agree, he spent too much time on FOX. Seems like it is turning into Taylor's boys club. Reddy and now Stringer. Would be good to have players and coaches chosen on ability rather than mates.

He was Kimmorley's assistant this year - maybe they thought he ended up doing most of the work anyway.

I'm not going to join in the Farah bashing. I'll state one thing though there is some bloodletting going on in our club atm.

I hope it stops soon and we can get on with winning games.

I hope the bloodletting continues until we can move forward. No point in doing a half job.

Two interesting things out of this article.

Some so called 'In the know' people in this forum already had Kimmorley stepping in as Taylor's replacement midway through next year…..FAIL.

And the most interesting part was that Robbie Farah's invited partner for the luncheon was Sam Ayoub. There is only one reason you would do that and I'm afraid that any respect or pride I had in Robbie Farah just went out the window.... That is an epic slap in the face for his supporters who, like me, believe he is professional and mature and could rise above the garbage that has been going on at the club in the last few years. Maybe that exact reason is why the coach is trying to get rid of him.....#childishmove

Not sure how you come to that conclusion. It's his business who comes with him.

Absolutely it is. If you want to think that Sam Ayoub was invited by Robbie just to enjoy the festivities then that's OK. I have no problem with that.

I see it otherwise.

Had Robbie turned up with a lady friend or any other friend on the planet, he would have come out smelling like roses. Whether true or not the perception will be that he invited Ayoub as a sh** stir. And that, any way you look at it, is childish, silly, and not in keeping with the mayire 'head down bum up' attitude to fighting for his position that he would like us to think is his attitude. Just very poor. As I said, a part of my respect and love for him has gone.

It is intimidation, instead of arriving with a normal partner or just himself he has to walk in with muscle another orchestrated move.

You don't think that maybe some of you aren't getting just a touch of paranoia???

Not a loss, while he was very good player, he fail in the role of U20's coach.

How can you say he failed in the role of U20s coach? In his first year coaching them he took them to the second week of the semis - I'd hardly call that a fail. It was a whole lot better than what our first grade coach produced in his first year that for sure. Kimmorley is not stupid, I'm sure he can recognise a toxic environment when he's in one and I reckon that would be why he left.

Btw, I'm no mod or admin, but can I ask people to please stop turning _every single thread_ into an opportunity to stick to the boot into Farah - it's unnecessary and it's really tiresome.

certainly looks like paranoia reigns supreme, Flip

They wanted Kimmorely to commit full-time rather than phoning it in …he said No...none the less carry on...

If it helps. Personally I just want to watch a good footy team running around in the finals.

Paranoia - baseless or excessive suspicion of the motives of others.

Um…..No.

Neither baseless nor excessive. I'm not a JT fan by any stretch until he proves himself, which he has not done yet, if at all.

But Im quickly becoming annoyed at Farah's hipocrasy. He is not doing himself or our club any favours so he is either getting bad advice or justifying the decision of others to get rid of him. Our best ever player should not be remembered like this and it hurts!

The only thing that interests me out of that report is that Lodge is going. If that is the case I just about give up. Totally sick of the one way traffic out of this joint. Who the hell are we paying our salary cap to?

Lodge seems to be trouble based on his track record. Probably better without him.

It's another sign that the club is carrying out a cleaning process aimed at becoming more in tune with the professionalism of other (more successful) clubs.

Sam has been to the GF function many years previously, on this case I think the way the article is written has blown things out of proportion.

Exactly right MT. Quite a few player managers attend. Good place to mingle and talk shop.
Maybe even pick up some more business.

Have you seen the size of Ayoub? Wouldn't intimidate anyone

Kimmorley could be a really good coach if he focused on that side of things. Unfortunately, too many fingers in too many pies. No great loss I guess.

i can't believe how petty some of these people are getting.
If Robbie changed his brand of toothbrush, that would somehow be turned around to be, "Farah brings the club into disrepute" :roll :roll

SMH snippet about Taylor giving praise to Fletcher at the GF luncheon. SMH noted this was different to what was said when told he didn't have a job next year.

Kimmorley is a joke being on a coaching staff, but at the same time insisting on a media career as well.
