Kingston + Halatau

According to Darryl Brohman we are in talks with Kevin Kingston and Dene Halatau.
Kingston I think would be a good backup option when Farah is unavailable. Better than Iosefa anyway.
Not sure about Halatau though.

dont buy kingston would be a complete waste of money. he would want quite a bit more money than iosefa and would only get 3 or 4 games a year with Farah playing 80mins. Halatau another waste of money gives away so many penalties and is getting really old. so can't see us any buying any of those two players as it would be completely pointless

Can't understand why Kingston would want to come here and play 3 games a year behind Farah. Makes ZERO sense. Halatau serves no purpose what so ever either. If this was to become true, serious questions need to be asked of those in charge of recruitment.

why would you want to take Farah off. Fulton can cover #9 if Farah gets injured during the game

indeed, Fulton has an extended contract and can fill the super-sub role all while not being a splinter picking burden in the 17 man squad.

There is nothing worse than burning a bench spot, when our pack is on the small side meaning rotation needs to be high.
