Even for the name of Charity i will be more than happy to take on Tallis .
Why does he need to be paid $220,000 to have a Bout when it's all Charity related .
Come to a Hospital and see the Pink Ladies that give up there time every single Day for no $$$$$ and wash Patients clothes and clean and spray Patients Flowers , Do fundraising for Caner Councils , Nepal Earthquake victims and Tallis wants $$$$ to get in the ring .
I wanna see these guys give up there time when they no longer have playing Contracts with Clubs or Commentators have no jobs with Foxs Sports etc…. Not saying that some don't but people might not know but it's in there Contracts to do this sort of Work , a True Character is Judged when they do it free will like the Lovely Pink Ladies at the Hospitals do .
:rant over
He's been offered money, he didn't ask for money. Its not Tallis' fault if someone wants to try and get a bit of publicity off the back of a statement he made.

Tallis to get huge pay day for Klemmer fight

Is David Klemmer the new Gordon Tallis
GORDEN Tallis has been given $220,000 reasons to seriously think about fighting David Klemmer.
The Queensland legend was today made an incredible big-money offer to step into a ring with the NSW State of Origin forward at the 2015 Fight for Life charity boxing night in New Zealand on December 5.
The event, organised by New Zealand company Duco Events, is expected to announce a number of other NRL stars and rugby internationals in coming weeks.
Duco Events founder David Higgins told News.com.au his company is prepared to offer up to $220,000 to get Tallis on the fight card.
It came after Tallis said any offer would have to at least match the one put to him by Anthony Mundine several years ago worth $200,000.
“Gorden said ‘make me a real offer’. Now we have,” Higgins said.
“It’s $220,000 for six minutes in the ring.
“We are very serious about this. This is for charity and every NRL player we’ve had do it with us has had a lot of fun and raised a lot of money for charity. We’re deadly serious. We heard about his price and we’re prepared to meet it.
“The only issue is his neck injury which we’ve only just heard about. We’re not in the business of putting peiople at risk.
“We don’t want to put pressure on him. If he’s fit and healthy the offer is there. If Gorden is serious we will have a chat with Dave.
“I’m going to send Gorden a text now letting him know that the offer is real.”
Tallis earlier today knocked back the original offer of $50,000 and conceded an ongoing neck injury could prohibit him from stepping into the ring.
Tallis has said he would have punched Klemmer in the face if the Canterbury forward showed him the same level of disrespect he showed to Queensland stars Cameron Smith and Corey Parker in Origin II in Melbourne last week.
“I’ll tell you something, Anthony Mundine offered me about $200,000\. I think they’re just chasing publicity,” Tallis told Triple M Brisbane Grill Team.
“The serious side is, when I had my neck surgery and I had my plate put in, all the other plates were going in the same direction. Otherwise, I would have had a crack on a couple of occasions.”

Participants on previous shows have included Blues captain Paul Gallen, Sam Thaiday, Greg Bird and Willie Mason.
Proceeds of this year’s event will go to Hospice Waikato.
“The fight is good timing, they are clear of any rugby league commitments,” Higgins said.
“The fight will be (over) three two-minute rounds, wearing headgear and 16-ounce gloves.
“This is a bona fide genuine offer. Fight for Life has been going ten years and numerous celebrities, politicians and sports stars have tried their hand at boxing.
“It’s raised millions of dollars for charity.”
