Klemmer

I said this ages ago. I know his sister and she said he was happy there and was unlikely to move.

But But But

He is friends with Woods CB , surely that has to count :unamused:

Well if TigerTorch is right and we had a big contract to offer Klemmer, hopefully that money can still be spent elsewhere.

I am not a fan of overpaying for props, I think you get great mileage out of 1 elite prop plus a bunch of cheaper hard heads.

Now a rep-level centre - that has my interest.

How many of the rep centres will actually be centres ??

We don't need any backs

Simona/Carr
Naiqama/Nofa

Is a pretty striking backline, what we need to do is completely scratch our 8-17 with the exception of a few players and then we will see results.

Until our forward pack is competing forget the backs, even if we had Mansour on one wing and Izzy on the other, we would still lose.

We have just about the worst forward pack in the game, until tough calls are made and the likes of Halatau and Buchanan are gone wsaid will continue to be dominated.

The unfilled numbers need to come from outside of the club, at the moment i have seen nothing from Aloai to suggest he is up to it, same with the rest of the players i have left out. Peats and Segeyaro would easily slot into our hooking position but unfortunatley the club is commited to developing juniors and signing 30 year old nuffies.

It really isn't - half of them wouldn't get a run at most other NRL clubs.
That said, I'd rather the money was spent on a backrower or two than a prop.

Yeah its really not an outstanding backline. On its day yes but otherwise we have, by a long long way, the smallest backline in the league. Many of whom are suspect in defence, under the high ball and are prone to making poor decisions (or no decision).

Same goes for the back row, injury prone, mistake riddled, poor decision making players.

You can only carry so many of those players in a team, as of course not everyone can be an elite player.

Yep.
We have too many questions marks across the squad - guys that can turn it on now and then, but also capable of terrible ineptitude on their day. Others that have plenty of the lows without the highs.
The top teams these days have rep quality for around half of their 17, and consistent performers for the rest.

Josh Aloiai hasn't shown anything to suggest that he'll make it in the NRL? The games that I've watched at the ground have shown to me that he'll be a very good NRL forward and has earned his place already with his aggressive play. Maybe a bit too religious but I can overlook that while he develops further.

It's a shame. Klemmer is pretty much exactly what we need. A nutter who plays the game hard and tough and hits people. Anyone who would turn him down is nuts.

Signed with dogs for three more

As did Moses Mbye

So much for Woods being Klemmer's bestie /bffl

Means sweet nothing in the real world

But but but we thought we had hi…never mind...

Can we move onto Josh Jackson instead...

Our backline is bog average. There are far better options out there then Kev, Nofa and even Simona.

True

I said Klemmer was never coming. His sister had no reason to lie and say he was staying. Anyone who thought he was coming here just because he's mates with Woods had rocks in their heads.
