Western Suburbs Magpies Knock-On Effect NSW Cup coach Ben Gardiner has named his line-up for their Round 14 clash against Parramatta Eels at Bankwest Stadium.

Experienced NRL player Joey Leilua returns to the squad for Sunday’s match and will line up in the back row, alongside Michael Chee Kam.

After missing last week’s loss to Penrith due to a minor leg injury, hooker Jake Simpkin returns at dummy-half as the Magpies look to return to winning ways, while Zac Cini is also back available for selection.

NRL development player Kelma Tuilagi shifts from an edge to the middle, linking up with front-rowers Tuki Simpkins and Austin Dias.

The match kicks-off at 1:35pm on Sunday ahead of the NRL clash against the Eels.

Seems strange he was not chosen to cover for Mbye / Walters has been very poor and clearly not fit, definitely not very mobile.

My guess is the Coaching staff think Walters fits the NRL better for this game...one advantage is Walters is a better defender .. Jock took a backseat to Walters last week and the side suffered...experience over a Rookie is the only thing I got..

Defense makes sense...Telltails made a good point that Billy can shuffle the ball like Mbye also.

Walters looked miles away from NRL last week though, both form wise and fitness wise, as you would know. Fingers crossed anyway.

I was never a Madden fan, but he has been pretty good in state cup IMO. He has controlled games and kicked well.
