While I agree Chris, comparing what is happening here to there is Apples and Oranges. The hard thing is that these blokes in Africa start an ideology and loose the plot. Many start of with good intentions. I think the world has stood by FAR too long, we should have intervened in that region a decade plus ago. The problem is there is no reason to intervene other than reasons of humanity.

On a side note, I think there is no doubt the sudden interest in this is a result of Machine Gun Preacher being released. Good movie… I enjoyed it. Identifies how idealism in that part of the word turns from being a cure to becoming a cancer.

Unfortunte that the guy trying to do something to help these children has gone a bit mental, but it doesn't lessen the importance of stopping this Kony criminal. There's plenty of other organisations out there working on bringing him to justice and trying to undo some of the damage he has inflicted. Is Kony even IN Uganda?) but a quick google search would have given you numb idiots the same information I guessed from intuition.

Okay, for the benefit of the invalids amongst us.

Joseph Kony is powerless and defeated, currently eating bugs living somewhere in a remote region of the central African republic.

The Ugandan Military, which is sponsored by Invisible Children and the American Government, is responsible for an equal amount of sex slavery, innocents being slayed and other assorted war crimes, as the LRA.

The Invisible Children claim that their aim is to guarantee that the American Government, which is already over staying it's welcome in Uganda, stays there and supplies military support to the Ugandan Military to capture Joseph Kony. Aka, they want the Americans to back Uganda in invading the Central African Republic to allegedly pull out one man, who is currently powerless.

The fact that I can string a sentence together and those that argue with me generally can't should ring alarm bells.

Joseph Kony is a piece of shit, in line with many African military commanders, not least of which is the commander of the Ugandan Military and Prime Minister of the country and the man that the Invisible Children are asking us all to support in taking out the evil Joseph Kony.
