I hate the way he attempts to run the ball back.Shows no heart nor conviction and that's a worry.

That's my disappointment

I'm trying to explain too many of the kids at footy on the weekend , the harder you run the less likely you are to get hurt

If you go hard , aim at a hole you won't get hurt and probably get a quicker play the ball

This criticism is massively over the top.

Clearly he is no star, but what do you expect from your back up players.

He made a bad miss on the first try. Other than that, he was basically in the right spot most of the time, go to the ball reasonably quickly and ran for over 100 m due to getting to the ball quickly. He is not a great ball returner.

He chimed in ok a couple times without adding loads, but not letting the play break down.

He is never going to be a first choice fullback, but as a fill in, he is doing ok,

We didnt lose cause of Rowe.

No we didn't, but he's not adding to our attack either, which is a problem. We're seriously lacking spark in the backline thanks to Anasta lacking creativity. It's easy to see we are spoiled to an extent with Tedesco as he offers another ballplaying option.

As someone said earlier, Rowe actually looked a bit more promising in attack in the last 10.

As for other options, I'm certain noffa will kill it at fullback. He made around a dozen try saving tackles in cover- he was all over the place trying to save tries, diffuse kicks, bombs everything. He reads the game well

Rowe is just a kid doing all that he can, he is not a world beater just a back up player to our first grade fullback. He does what he needs to do, clearly he isnt going to be as good as Teddy cause he would be there instead of Teddy from round 1\. People on here need a touch of reality. The real issue we have at the moment is the dinosaur playing in 6\. That number seems to be a weststigers curse for the last 3 years. If Austin does not start in the 6 (pending fitness) for the rest of the season, then this is going to be huge reason why/if we dont make the finals this year. In the years past its been our forward pack, thats not the reason this year.

Sure Rowe seems an honest kid, he is young, inexperienced etc. But they are all excuses for ordinary performances. He's not just not James Tedesco, he is below what I expect of a FG FB.

It is fine to say "he is the backup and we don't have any other options" - if that is the case, then we stick with him for as long as we have to and endure the consequences.

But I feel there are other options, we just haven't explored them on the field yet, so I am not satisfied if he keeps his position.

Goose says we didn't lose because of Rowe - I'm not entirely convinced of that. It only takes a few positive plays or bad mistakes to turn the tide of a game.

Couldn't have said it better.
