Kyle Lovett to Hull

He can get his career started there and then come back when he has a few years under his belt

Kyle Lovett off to HullFC according to Jacob Miller.

Where did you hear or see this? Hope it's BS, looks to be a future FG player the times I've seen him play.

I think you will find this leads to sheens staying. And then jacobs days may be numbered too sadly.I thought lovett had quite the motor for FG and miller still had plenty of time and if given an opportunity to play behind an "intimidating" forward pack could go great.

No Way!

This kid is a great defender and has all the attributes to play NRL…

Jacob must be taking the piss... Even if WT couldnt retain him, another NRL Club would see plenty of value in him!

Yeh I find it very hard to believe.

I'm pretty sure that to qualify you have to have played a certain number of NRL games so unless he has English heritage i'm not sure how he would get the right work permit or visa.

Miller said it on twitter…

I don't use twitter BM96, can you ask Miller if it's genuine or a gee up? Also if it's legit, is he being released by the club or has he asked for a release. I'd be surprised if we wouldn't have Lovett signed up. Thanks

This sounds like a salary cap issue. I reckon he will be back in a couple of years. Correct me if Im wrong, Hull FC coached by Peter Gentle?

I think we have been in salary cap trouble for a while. We either send players overseas (Fulton, Fitzhenry, Skandalis) and then bring them back a few years later or they sign on for less money than offered elsewhere but give them a job after football. (Skando again and Todd Payten)

X 2

But with what is happening at the moment who knows …...

Pretty stupid thing to do either way The team has a huge game in a few days

Be surprised, unless he has a European passport, he cant go as an OS player as he has not played 10 games of first grade.
Kid can play, Id be very disapointed if true, he was firmly in the clubs plans, but you cant blame a kid for wanting to see the world.

I reckon it is a gee up.

Same Goose, that was my initial reaction as well but as Happy points out, nothing can be ruled in/out at the moment. Probably the one good thing about the club at the moment, is the abundant amount of talent coming through the lower grades.

Lovett is highly rated and a couple of days out from the biggest game of his career thus far. He's still eliglbe for NYC next year and still contracted for next year I believe.

Milky is having a lend and the OP fell for it.
