OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

If he thinks Benji can’t develop him, wait till he spends time under Seibold!
It makes sense if you’re a manipulative manager ! “Ive got a guy over here at manly who’s been a coach many years , learnt from the best , Bellamy , Bennett . What has Benji done ? At manly you could be the next Turbo or DCE. That’s a real club . And they have a real coach”
Iterations of that constantly being repeated .
We won’t forget he got sacked at Brisbane after he ruined that club , and he’s in charge of a team right now that on paper everyone thinks should be competing for titles , but no one actually thinks they will . But yea ok .
Anyways that’s what the DCE stuff is really about .
Large is a centre projected moving forward .
It himk
Manly genuinely want a spine of Turbo/Hopoate , whoever until younger large comes through , Galvin and Fogarty . Turbo will be in the centres by 2027 , so that’s centres of Tirbo and Large .
Too bad for brooksy . And Kuola ( who I’d be looking to trade for if I was the tigers . I’d be asking for him and some kind of edge player .)

how good if we could get DCE for the rest of this year and next.

Top 4 for sure.

Then have Latu come up underneath and take over.

Also - when do we all wake up and read an article saying Galvin has signed a 5 year deal to stay with us. lol

Brilliant own goal by the Galvin team.
Hopefully now Richardson and Benji cool things down internally, continue to play Galvin in reggies and keep him available as depth. After all, he's a valuable depth player contracted for another 18 months.
Dont let him walk after his disrespect, that would be rewarding his behaviour and Moses tactics. Keeping him as injury backup is perfectly justified.

I wonder if O Large got an out written in his contract over there like he apparently wanted here.
I’d heard it before , but the guys on wests life basically said it , I think large has been told he’s not a half , and his future is in the backs . I heard we said to him we think the same but we’re happy to develop him as a 6 as well .
I mean it’s all rumours . But if you’re the Large family dad , you’re scratching your head right now I think . Once again manly telling lies to poly family’s in west Sydney to get them to come to their club .
They’ve got a huge history of this !

I’m sure he has the best interests of the club at heart …

It’s great he is still in the media every week so he can be asked on the latest with the club …
More so Galvin asked for at least 3 releases via his manager to Justin Pascoe.
This had to be up until November 2023.
At that time he had just played Aussie School boys and last contracted game for the Tigers was with SGBall.
This means.
1. Has nothing to do with the pursuit of Luai.
Possibly more to do with the club signing Latu and Sullivan.
But if he requested 3 times over that period the timeline could indicate his first release request was during or following his SGball season.

Not holding my breath but nice if it happens even for 2025. Tell LF he’s got a long future here and to concentrate on getting healthy and developing his game.

Galvin to Manly would be justice.

I've been saying all year that is a club on the verge of falling apart.

Their good players are either broken or old enough for the pension (and leaving).

When your team list has Talau, Brooks, Aloia, Simpkin, Nathan Brown, Large & Galvin....starts to look like our wooden spoon squad has migrated.

The club that makes the most sense, to me, is the Sharks.

That would be his best fit imo.

Too bad if his management team don't see that..

To be honest never was a massive fan of his , but if he had been the best 5/8 at the club , I think it’s poor that he is dropped for not wanting to sign with the club given that his contract is up in 18 months time. Yes club wants to get roster sorted but by same token they created this by not putting the offer closer to November especially given he asked for release 3 times last year and they would have had a inkling of his decision prior (again I blame RLPA , nrl for not having June 30 deadline and everyone causing this situation)

If club refuse to play him solely for not wanting to sign then he should be allowed to go (it’s not like he is doing a Moses and not putting in)

As for Gus , dogs may or may not want him but what I find he talks players like Galvin up a lot so clubs pay overs so he gets his real targets
The players did it . Just like I predicted they would yesterday ! Can’t have a bloke next to you , you don’t trust !
