OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

I think Galvin has way too much hype. His contract status will disrupt our recruitment. Put an offer in and a date to sign by and if he takes it so be it. He either wants to stay or he doesn’t. You won’t change his mind.

No one is bigger than the club. Could sign Dylan Brown anyway.

Lachlan is the real deal. Once in a generation player. Lets be grateful we have him for one more year. How can you not see that? As some make out? Like who?

I think Richo has been around enough to know if Galvin is heading for the door , 3 release requests last year paints a sad picture , Richo said January he would have a chat with Galvin , he may be ok to wait till round 10 or so and have another chat but if Galvin goes cold Richo will know and if it is the case you start to bring in Latu , or as other have said Dylan Brown , Galvin will be looking for probably $ 800 wk per season , Brown on about 100 to 200 more and playing beside Luai would be a very good pairing

I know this won't be popular with fans and Galvin to but to put our best 17 on the park every week in 2025 we are best off of moving Galvin to the second row and Latu Fainu to the 6 ......flak jacket on
He is definately not the best 5/8 in the club. Someone has 4 rings at 5/8. The other kid has always been seen as the big next thing. Latu has had injuries but he could be more talented. We might be talking about the 3rd best 5/8 in the club...

Hopefully it happens sooner rather than later, & all parties are happy with it.

He’s 10 kilos light to be playing in the pigs. Can’t see it happening.

All this hoo rah over nothing I mean you could forgive the kid for wanting to see how we go this year before committing to the 3 time wooden spooners long term. Come on people why do we straight away go into panic mode?
In theory you are right, but in reality it's a very dumb move for him to not re-sign based on wanting to see how the season goes. He is basically leaving a massive upgrade for this season and next (up to maybe 800-900k total). Its not like hes on 600 or 700k and his upgrade would be an extra 100k. He's supposedly on 250-300k the next two seasons, and im sure he would get anywhere between 650k-750k over the next two seasons if he was to upgrade and sign long term.

Anything can happen in professional sports and every player is one injury away from never playing again. all he needs to do is look at Flegler or even Simon Dwyer in the coaches box!

Even if the club doesn't turn around, Moses no issue getting a player out of contract early.

The kid has supreme confidence in himself obviously. Sure, he could get hurt, or he could go to another level and become a million dollar playmaker. I like his attitude.
