OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

The whole thank you Galvin for letting us know so we can plan for the future story is a lie…Richo had to force their true intentions out of them and now that’s it’s out it can only mean that he’s already been in contact with another club

Richo has a lot of pull within the nrl and many already have a distaste for Moses. This battle is only just beginning and it won’t end pretty. Richo is a true leader and he won’t be walked over. If the nrl is serious Galvin and his management will be held accountable and made an example of for future illegal contract negotiations.

Some mates that are parra fans now think that the longer this drags on, the worse it will make the Tigers administration look, big in my opinion they have the upper hand. They could drag it out as long as it takes to get a good deal.

the only thing that will make them look good or bad is winning/ losing football games … the players need to be concentrating on that and not trying to “get” Galvin on social media

I think he thinks galvins a dog
He was offered 6 million to lead a team with his bros at age 19 and came out indirectly saying the coach is sh1t.
It will make TDS stronger and he will form a better bond with the wider group who will bring him under their wing.
You want to believe that - but clearly have no idea.

Galvin, Tallyn and Heath Mason were all at Lidcombe cheering on the Flegg and Cup sides a few weeks back. They are great mates who all starred in Wests 2022 Matthews Cup winning side

I think they're reacting to a pretty awful situation. They've had their say, and now they'll focus on winning. While everyone is reminding us that Galvin is only 19, Turuva is only 22, and May is what? 21? 22? Why does that 2 or 3 years make them have so much more responsibility? They're either all adults, or all kids, imo

And 2 of them have their heads down and bums up, working hard to improve, and one is saying the coach is no good and has a 7 step plan for his (the coach) improvement while turning down a multi-million dollar, multi- year deal 🙄

Unfortunately I don't think we could afford to wait until 1 Nov as we needed to prioritise the developemt of either him or Latu. He led to his own demise by deciding to test the market. Had he been respectful in the way he did that I think it would have been the end of the story. There are plenty of models for how to make the call - and one of the best was his halves partner and mentor.

Romey did exactly the same thing at Penrith; however, approached it in a professional and respectful manner. Even though footy is now a professional sport and more of about business than club loyalty - when you are part of a team your team mates expect loyalty to them for the duration of your contract. They are the ones in the trenches with you.

A player losing the trust of the playing group is pretty unusual and when that happens the player needs to be cut out as the animosity and disharmony affect performance. From the reaction of the players this is not a one off - he has been on the outer in the playing group for a while.
Yep. I can’t see anyway that he stays here. It seems clear he is not liked by his peers….including the Reggie’s who are surely filthy that this kid knocked back an opportunity they will never ever receive. I’m certain management will be very cold to him as well. The fans will be ferocious next time he takes the field. How does he attend official functions? Joint training sessions?

I just think that Richo and Benji should let them know today to move on and focus on the game ..winning without him on the field contributing would be the best way to stick it to him

I agree but not so much out of concern for Galvin. The point has been made beautifully and with strength by the club and the players who've come out in support of the club. But if there's any more we risk losing public opinion and giving Moses exactly what he wants i.e the mental health card.
Yep...the clubs had its say... a few players have made their point via the socials...that'll do. we just ignore it now and focus on Monday

That may be true, but the three are still mates 👍

At this point, everyone has had their two days of anger and emotion but its time to move on from everyone. Its best for the club, our players, our season and Galvin. Bring in Latu and let Richo and Benji deal with what to do with Galvin in the short term

We are 3 and 3 and still have the season ahead of us. The back and forth, insults and carry on won't get us anywhere. Galvin still has close friends at the club and Moses still has clients who will be impacted by further carry on.

If he goes to Parra, good luck to him. As long as we win games and build towards a premiership over the next few years thats what really matters. Need to keep the course and keep the eye on the prize.

And there in lies the difference. Talyn has probably seen and heard this type of behaviour from Lachy and his camp as long as they have been associated with them. Talyn recently admitted that he doesn't think he is ready for FG starter yet.
They might be friends because of association but totally different in character and the players around him wouldnt take long to see the difference

That will happen.

But we need to make it look like he's still in our plans and we can ask for whatever $$ or player we want from the other team.

We showed our hand early with Bateman and told everyone we don't want him. We lost all our bargaining power by then.

We already showed strength and already congratulated Richo for it. We are on top of this narrative so far, but the media will write articles to balance it out and we need to shut it all down before it gets there.

What the hell are you talking about, have you been living under a rock?? Everyone already knows he not part of our plans hence the club statement literally saying he is not part of our future.

We had no bargaining power with Bateman because he was washed up and having a terrible season. What do you think the club was going to get for him with his bloated salary and level of play??

We don’t have to do a damn thing with Galvin. We can sit him in KoE or better yet, Jersey Flegg and there is nothing Galvin or Moses can do about that. He has a contract for 2026 and everyone and their dog knows he’s not going anywhere unless someone offers a Preston or Haumole.

The media is going to write articles regardless, especially Weilder and Chammas who are all but self admitted mouthpieces for Moses. So to change direction because of puppets like them would be an idiotic move.

People are just paranoid because our former administration had no clue and always zigged when they should have zagged.

Galvin has suppossedly chosen to join the Eels...

Funny that, I thought he was sick of losing and wanted to join a winning club and a coach that will develop his game to a level Benji and the WT can't.

What a load of B.S. Galvin and his family have been feeding us for the last 12 months!

I hope we smash the Eels on Monday!.
