yet some are happy to play an unproven 6 in latu fainu

some fans on here want to drop galvin for fainu and be like "yeah we showed him" all while latu fainu is elevated above his station in the team.
The result we miss the 8
You will not find a playmaker with as much skill as Galvin for the price we are paying him
2027 will be latu fainu's time if he can string some games together with the magpies

I’m a huge Latu fan but the kid doesn’t need that pressure - he needs to just focus on getting game time which has been a major problem for him over the last 3-4yrs. If he can’t play most games we need Galvin anyway as we have no other option.

Big fan of Latu too, he has the speed off the mark which I think is essential for a pivot.
I still wonder why Galvin wants to leave?
He indicated that it would be a good career move and maybe there’s something to that?
Benji seems to be big on unstructured footy, letting the halves do whatever they want. Perhaps that doesn’t suit Galvin?

Whatever is best for Latu’s development I am all for. Galvin works for now, and that’s what is best for the tess as m. But once Latu is ready, then Galvin becomes the backup. With all Latu’s injuries that may take some time to resolve. So be it, use Galvin fir what’s best for winning and the team’s future!

Is there much point to selling him though? We won't get much in the cap for him. Isn't he on 300k or so? Idk. If he isn't cancer, I'd keep him.

I agree, no way he plays centre lol. If we move him out of halves he will get a early release in a week.

Latu has 18 months to get himself ready to play half in NRL, and we have a very cheap NRL half to keep the seat warm.
We are in the box seat, we need to be patient, not do anything rash and make sure we come out in front when the time is right. And above all else, keep winning games.
