OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

Gus is a snake, who knows what he's talking about.

Think they said 3 spots for this year.

Taylan May
Tyrone May
Krystian Mapapalangi [Upgrade]

Then bring in KPP & Harrison Hassett next year and some more depth added.
2 backs and 30+ utility for this year...Man that's grim.

Taylan helps. We need some forwards though. We've been lucky with injuries so far, but Seyfarth needs replacing with a top quality edge forward.

I'm hoping it's Taylan, a 6/7 and an edge forward if we only have 3 spots available. If we have one more, an extra middle.

Unless we can get an early release player there isn't much available

Preston Riki?
Ethan Bullemore [unlikely]
David Fifita?

Wouldn't mind a bit of a swap with the Dogs.
Sitili Toponua [probably unlikely)

Hearing ya though
Work in progress
Hoping they can make some good additions as soon as possible and again during the off season.

Yup more proof Gus is a snake in positions he shouldn't be in at the same time. Pure BS.

Also, nice one Galvin walk into a premiership threatening side where the hard work has already been done.

Would love nothing more than to see that all implode. Dogs and Gus deserve that.
Would love to see him about to score the winning try in the grand final and drop it over the line like he did against Souths. We will get our moment...he can't be perfect for the rest of his career.

I really hope Eels turn up against the Dogs in that round 14 game - and not let the Dogs flex on them, and Galvin gets a free ride by riding on their coattails.

Else its more negative media for us.

Yeah that's what we're banking on... hasn't been much agitation, but I hold out some hope because we don't leak info the same way we used to. I'm gonna sit and wait until July 1 and run my mouth then 😅

When this all broke there were arguments on here 10 pages long of some saying there’s no way he’s going to Parra.
It always made sense he was going to dogs to me, you don’t knock back a mill to go to a club only slightly ahead of us.
Canterbury are on a track for a premiership in the next few years. They just have to finish their recruitment drive.

The moment he said it was about career focus it was always the Bulldogs. Eels was just a family link. His bestie & few others, mentor and the best in the game Gus is over there + the winning optics.

Don’t for one minute think he won’t get paid or short changed though. The Laundy group & Gus have very deep connections - Galvin will at somepoint be the face quickly and get a bucket load of sponsors $$ / apartment / car etc for it to make the difference up.

Yes its disappointing the ego driven little shit has dumped on the club we love but silver linings. Latu has shown much more in his limited minutes than what Galvin ever has. Handed the keys to the team over Jerry in order to bribe him to stay, and has played very poor with the mountain of opportunities given to him. Hopefully now the desired 6. Jerry, 7. Latu (as it should have always been) can now get on the park and combine with his brothers and Bula/Api spine. I think Latu at 7 and Jerry at 6 is a much more balanced attacking team. Been watching the game since Adam was a child, Ive seen thousands of 'future' immortals come and go. Galvin is just another one to pop up in current year. No loss.

It’s up to Latu to get his body right and make the position his now.

Also interesting will be how Bud goes for rest of the season at Souths knowing he won’t be short of options for next season onwards.
