Yes, i would have loved to have seen him get smashed for the remainder of his contract named as prop playing in reggies but its just not reality. Best thing Richo could do for the club was cut out the poison. The next best thing Richo could do is have some pretty astute signings lined up. In very little time that will tell.

Yeah, I see your point. I just think he could have anticipated all this. It was obvious last year he wasn't re-signing. And why offer a million dollar contract if he is so difficult?

My guess is that they rate him so highly and think he's so important that they kept playing him and chasing him despite his obvious disinterest. And I suppose if their assessment of him is correct and he does get that good, then you probably can't blame richo. To me they clearly rate Galvin much more highly than fainu.

Latu hasn't been able to finish one full NRL game yet. My biggest concern is I'm not sure going chips in on a 19 year old during his development is the only way to handle it. In fairness, even Galvin should have been eased in and probably would have been if it weren't for the extreme pressure put on the club by his management.

Anyway, I know there are varying opinions on this and it will be impossible to get people to agree on the solution 100%. I just hope whatever we end up with works for us and brings success.

My plan A would be to get someone like Jack Cole to compete with Latu for the 6.

Tuck...your thoughts on the dossier? To me it's such a rat thing to do...should he not have discussed his issues like a reasonable human being?

I'd be pretty upset if one of my teammates had been building a secret case file against us.
 
Finally they can burn the latrine buckets, clear the atmosphere and focus on getting this team win heavy for the rest of 25.
Funny how hes gone to the dogs, you know nature vs nurture.....

Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Im 100% sure if Richo had his time again he would just show Galvin where the exists of the club were located.

I think they got caught up in the ease of complacency. The old Sheensy style, name the same 17 no matter what, when clearly Galvin should have been dropped for poor performances.. However they had decided to essentially bribe Galvin with game time (to appease his daddy) and then gave offers way over his current worth to keep him at the club. The media noise about Galvin being the next immortal would have also played a part for a struggling club wanting the next Joey/Locky/Benji marketing as a player at the club. I think they already have that in Jerry/Api/Bula. I just hope these guys are now the focus going forward. TDS is a very good player but he might be shown the door quicker if he tries pulling a 'Galvin'.

Latu and Galvin are both 19. Latu to me seems a much more dangerous half and long term half. I cant see Galvin being a 6 long term. Maybe a 7 but at 19 and 6 foot 4 or 5 he is gonna put on the beef as he gets older. Todd Payton being the exception, I dont see too many 110kg+ halves out there. He will end up a forward before too long just like Rowdy and Wiki and Luke Lewis and a thousand other kids that get turned into forwards as they slow down, pack on the beef and age.
