I feel like the mindset of Rugby League people has really changed over the years. In the past if a youngster did what he did last year dogging his coach like that and breaking a contract,the old school would hold it against him. These days,those same old school characters are weak as piss and go the opposite way. It really baffles me how pathetically soft these so called experts are. Braith cops so much crap, but he is a breath of fresh air imo because he calls this crap out more than most. The rest just jump on bandwagons and are terrified of upsetting the powerful people like Gus, Politics etc. I've lost so much respect for guy like Johns, Alexander and the like.

Braith is one of the best. He tells it as it is without the BS.

Another vote for Braith. Years ago I also liked Kent but he got pushed into the role of being the angry/outraged guy to the point where his takes were no longer genuine but faking outraged for the sake of the role.

very true, will win more than they lose, however that high intensity bash and barge second phase attack coupled with high line speed and multiple players in each tackle will drain you and we saw that in the second half of last year, they ran out of puff. Basically the same game plan as the eels under Brad Arthur, will get you to finals but not a premiership...and they have had a top 3 number 7 and top 10 number 6 for the last 5+ years.

Cronk or maybe it was Johns mentioned when Saints put in a deep field position kick the Dogs forwards walked back to the play sometimes taking 3 tackles before they were all onside
It backfired once tho as King was pinged for recieving the ball despite never getting behind the ptb

Knights had the worst attack in the comp last year and hes now attacking coach. What could go wrong.

Jason Taylor did pretty well as an attack coach after destroying our attack.

I'm probably just as old, if not older and admit I am no expert when it comes to pulling apart a game but the Dragons definitely did not get the rub of the green but their lack of discipline certainly did not help.

All this gushing (or is that Gus-ing) over Galvin really amazes me, but then I guess what else are the Fox crowd going to say after their #1 expert Matty Johns anointed Galvin some time ago as the next immortal.

It seems like it would not matter how far he passes the ball forward it's either going to be a case of "the kid is a genius", "that was just bad luck" or "that was the fault of the receiver for over running the ball."

Doesn't matter what he does particularly on that right edge, let's be a little bit honest, it's always going to be the hole running of a guy like Preston that makes him look good and I wish some of the commentators would admit that is the case.

Cronk has definitely backed off his praise since Galvin joined the dogs.
Johns is either on the take or the Galvin camp have something on him.

Ciraldo has huge problems. He switched so many players around in that game searching for a miracle fix. They have zero polish in attack. They looked dangerous once they started running super hard and aggressive, but still only scored off a blatant forward pass and lucky throw back in, and a very lucky try off a deflection. I expect the media will ramp up on them very soon and they will start to lose confidence. Galvin can play, and hes tough, but he kills their attack most of the time. Looks dangerous, but he is an individual.

Should be more annoyed at Gus and Ciraldo. Everyone knows he is a 5/8th who is mid or lower tier at the moment. Not a halfback that organises. He barely kicks the ball. Makes you laugh so much when. Instead of owning the mistake they double down.

If they drop him it means they made a 900k mistake . Especially if woods comes in and brains it . I often wonder Richo and Benji Jedi mind tricked the bulldogs into doing this . I mean because really the only reason Galvin even got to first grade was because Latu was out injured . And the story goes that he was promised to the dogs the moment the Fainus signed here… that’s how pissed off team Galvin was that we signed them .
I know it’s more likely luck and providence … but still I like to think we screwed the dogs over lol
