OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

The other day was talking to a friend who works at a football club when Galvin was at Parramatta he was told he was not a half/five eighth but a lock second rower combination, Galvin game is not a physical game, his game lacks depth and he is too easy to read in attack and defense.
Depends who you talk to…
Word is at Parramatta the coaches didn’t know how he never got a look in.
- he won basically everything at training there too, even back then.
Head coaches played favourites and he moved back to the Magpies.

he’ll have one less go to play if Preston is out.
His energy and fitness are elite and that probably got him through juniors.

His issues are that he is not overly fast or elusive, so mostly relies on a passing and short kicking game however he doesn’t seem to posses the footy nous or silky skills like a Katoa to be able to put runners into gaps. At the moment, he seems to have a limited set of go to plays that defences have identified. He may improve with experience but playing 7 certainly adds to the pressure on him.

Last night he ran the exact same short pass play with Tupouniua. Maybe even a bigger threat.
Yeah, the man is a beast pity at the time we didn't try to sign him though we weren't travelling that well and the dogs were probably more appealing.

Forum was worried about his injury history thinking he was cooked but look at him now, a real handful, runs hard with no fear.

Burton busted that game open, i know galvin had 3 TA's however they were off the back of burton and xerri's work. Still need to shut him down, however burtons running game is more of a threat to us.
💯 in agreement TheEnz, Burton and Xerri won that game for the ‘Dogs last night. Burton was much more involved running the ball and Xerri was powerful.

Man that 'Back Dylan brown" move really worked for Parramatta hey.

Kinda the same story with our juniors.
