A lot of the posts in this discussion are full of merit re.coaches, players and what were faults of each and what were positives of each...
In my opinion what makes good leaders whether coaching or playing is the fundamental ingredient that has to be first and foremost ""RESPECT""....
Respect for your playing partners, respect for your coaching and staff and finally respect for the club you represent ....
Over the years we have had some respect for each,BUT never ALL players, coaches and club together at the same time..I understand we have always had some disharmony at times in all ,but we constantly had some form of in house fighting and back biting...
Since Madge got here he had a mess to sort out, some players didnt like his coaching, the board had its bickerings etc....
Once we have harmony, a direction going forward towards finals and good wins then the better times will come, but alas, everyone within the club from board, players and coaching must have an UTMOST respect for each other and their roles, otherwise the negativity will roll on and on....
