Ladder Predictor

I have us beating the Cowboys and Bulldogs, losing to the Sea Eagles, then beating the Knights, Dragons and Sharks. Okay, it's wishful thinking, but a kid can dream.

Some things I noticed while doing the predictor:
* Broncos and Eels have the best runs home out of any teams. I have both making the 8, even with the Broncos losing this weekend (which they will). We actually have a very good run home, probably the 3rd best after these two.
* Knights play 4 out of their 6 remaining games against teams directly in contention against them for finals spots. Their results will have massive ramifications on all teams aiming to finish 7th or 8th (Tigers, Broncos, Sharks, Knights, Panthers).
* It's possible for a team to finish 8th on 26 or 27 points. Lots of the teams 7-11 play each other on the run home. Our shocking F/A means we need 28.

In the end, it's more likely to be heartbreak again as we miss the finals by 1 or 2 points. forever9th.jpg

Oh and then the Rorters in the GF

Mighty Wests Tigers by 12..

If we ever knock off Easts in the big dance I could die the next day a happy man.

WOO HOO is right @hobbo1:relaxed: you're a funny guy. Have a great day and enjoy the footy :v:

Dream on Guys. I'm not braggin or nuffin, cause I reckon a lot of Wests Tigers Supporters would have done the same thing in 2005, ie about the same time as this in 2005 I used the ladder predictor and came up with Wests Tigers V Cowboys g.f with Our boys of course winning it :v:
So, as I said, dream on, and enjoy your dreams :fist:

That hilarious @MAGPIES1963 as the ladder predictor only 1st appeared on NRL.com in 2012..

Thanks for that info @Geo: I didn't actually say the ladder predictor I used was NRL.com. The one I used was in the Telegraph newspaper.
But I am pleased you found it hilarious anyway. :relaxed:

Unfortunately we can't rely on the Storm or Roosters to be of much use beating teams around us as they are mostly playing bottom placed teams. Not as though their run in was planned or anything.

Well if it happens this season I am going to kick myself more than 2005 ....we were at 250-1 after the loss last weekend

All our games need to be won to get into the Top 8....one loss and we will be in trouble. We can't make the top 4, obviously, with the likes of Melbourne, Sydney, Souths and Canberra, and plus we don't have the points to climb that high anyway. Everyone can agree that we won't be making the Prelim's or the GF this year but playing finals could give us confidence heading into next year.
