Looks like my Benji poster is coming down at the end of August. it was good up on the wall for the last 7 years loyalty and contracts mean nothing in the NRL anymore, sign someone for 5 years it doesn't matter they can still get out of it and p' off to some other code anyway

Sorry, but didn't the Tigers renege on the size of the upgrade they offered originally? From what I can tell it is Tigers that are not honouring their part. What would you do if your employer unilaterally decided to pay you less?
Maybe you would p off too? I would! Except unlike Benji I would ask for a payout.

Whatever, contracts have get-out clauses for a reason.

Anyway, keep your poster up mate. I kept my Gary Jack and Ellery posters up for years….then they came back!

Hope the club will still be as popular without Beau and Benji. Thats alright, we still have fulton, he's a laugh.

From my perspective popularity comes with winning footy games. Not appearing on the footy show. We are better off without them.

Then frank not to be harsh but your opinion is incorrect. Yes winning games has an impact and winning teams are more popular but players like Benji and Beau make teams more popular all the time not just when they are winning.

Football wise we may well be better without them -but from a fans, sponsors, exposure point of view then we defiantly are not better off without them.

Winning games is the most important thing if you want to get increased crowds and marketing dollars. The only issue that I can see is are Brooks and/or Moses ready for first grade ?
