Latu Fainu #282

The power of the collective. Same reason most players seem better when they move to stronger clubs. e.g Garner and Talau.
Most definitely that is the case; try their guts out in the lower grades but without the quality support players can look average. Then all of a sudden they are being placed into half gaps and come good.

Also just the confidence you get from playing with certain individuals. I remember once seeing a guy walk into a shed before a GF and just knowing we would win that day.

Dont know him D, tell me about him ?

He's a centre, but he's been filling in at fullback and 5/8 for us in cup the past few weeks.

He's fast and from what I've seen has some similarities to Gagai. Looks alright with the ballplaying but is definitely a runner of the ball.

Strikes me as the type to really step up to the level and make the most of the opportunity.
Was in talks to head over to England but landed at us, probably his chance to make it or break into the NRL so he'll be trying hard.

Latu Fainu & Jeral Skelton continue with their hamstring injury rehab - they are expected to return in Round 14 at the earliest.

Both have a history of hamstring issues - Fainu has suffered multiple strains in the past 18 months, this latest one in recovery from a broken thumb.

Skelton suffered a hamstring strain re-injury in Round 6 - rehab process often longer for recurrent strains.

Initially Fainu & Skelton were listed to return in Round 13 but this has been pushed back at least a week for now.

It’s a worry that Latu did his hammy while training. Normally they go when you hit match intensity. It must be pretty dodgy 😢

Its funny eh? There seems to be a few like that
Most on here wanted Sione Fainu sacked before his brothers even got here, once we saw him in first grade he has changed many minds. Bula was another. When Sheens started talking him up I watched a couple of reserve grade games and was very underwhelmed. Hes never looked back since making his debut.
I don't think you watched him play reserve grade after Sheens started talking him up. He'd been out injured for a month before his debut. Why would you lie about something like that. You must be desperate. Get help.

Gun junior who had a bad run with injuries. Could pair with T'oa in the centres.

May be in line for an upgrade now.

I recall watching Bula in cup at Leichhardt before is debut a couple years back, he was sensational. Inglis like full field try
