Latu Fainu #282

Bring on round 22 v Lloyd from the Dogs

He gets around the slug and he won’t be caught and hurts him with his tackles

Massive difference between him and Galvin. Katoa and Latu are better and Gus would know that but sucks to suck

Great game but it was his defensive never give up effort that was the most pleasing.

Enjoy today fans but also temper expectations and let him have development time. He has alot of learning to do and as teams work him out he then has to evolve again.
No tempering will be going on here. Latu Mania is here and I will be sat for it.

loved that!
Absoulutely - i noticed that.

I just love his speed. You always feel he is a chance. When he scored that try, his acceleration through the whole was immense. I don't think many halves make that, and Galvin doesn't even bust the whole.

We have not scored many tries like that over the years with runaways as our players are not explosive, so its a great change.

Braith and the guys on his podcast said Latu looks like he will be a better half than galvin and Gus got the wrong one

interestingly a reason galvin was not happy with the club during pre-seaon was because the team preferred Latu, apparently training better, more committed and suited the combinations more

Katoa is the best young half in the competition, and Latu IMO is the closest thing to him. Galvin not even in the picture.

Not to say Galvin sucks, rate (but hate) him, but not anywhere as good as the above in the halves.

The game just slows down with Katoa/Latu, in the good way.

Looking at pretty boy Galvin's game now he plays nothing more than a link role and looks to be on the path to play lock.

That's if he hasn't got beanpole syndrome and can put on 10kg of muscle, if he can't well F if I know where he ends up, an average 5/8 boy that will upset the doggies fans and Gussy will be on the nose.

You can't fool your teammates, especially those who have won premierships or have been at the top echelon clubs.
