TBH I think Jake is above Latu in the pecking order for 6. I was excited to see Latu and its a shame he was injured early, but it doesn't look like he is ready for starting. Like others said he wasn't really in it, but he hasn't played for ages either, so expected.

I think it might be best to put him in reserves for a while. The extended bench kinda sucks for his development.

I am expecting AD and Jake the halves for next year.

Not aiming at you, but I just had a visceral reaction to your post being yet another suggesting that Doueihi would be first choice in the halves again.

After a lifetime supporting both versions of the Tigers, with a single premiership from each and 14 years under HBG without even a finals appearance, when someone posted over the pre-season that Adam was training at halfback to start the year, I was angry and thinking here comes the fifteenth.

Honestly, the thought of that scenario being repeated has me thinking that it could be the last straw for me as a supporter, particularly after Doueihi dogged his coach, team-mates and us fans.

Well, playing for his country he should be all in. if he goes the 80 we should get a good gauge of what we’re going to get.
He has showed glimpses, but we need 10 years of consistency.

Yeah, it’s not about the form. If you’ve seen enough of him, you don’t need him to impress you. It’s all about seeing if he can just stay on the field.
