LAwrence is a great centre, I would leave him there. He is in the best 3 centres in the game, why move him?

The talk about Marshall at fullback is because the tigers want to fit young Sironen into the team. He is a great talent. I still think he will be in the centres next year with Asyford moving to the back row or bench spot. Ashyford at full back is interesting, I would give it a go he is a very good player.

On current form there's no way Ayshford will go to the bench. Given that a lot of centres these days are around the 100kg mark, there's every chance he'll stay there. I don't think young Sirro will be rushed as he is only 18\. I'd certainly train with fulltime with the top squad over summer and see how he comes along. I think he's more likely to end up a ball playing lock though as he still has a bit of growing left to do.

Lawrence to FB would be awesome, he reminds me on mini in his wonder years before his injuries.
Strong, fast & athletic. He could easily run the length of the field picking up on a loose grubber & you would have so much confidence in him if he was left with a 1 on 1 tackle against any player in the comp regardless of there size or speed.

Benji should remain as is, he creates something out of nothing. So unless we pick up a specialist FB, i would like to see 1 of our best players in that role.. No brown, ryan, reddy or any other average fb.

I agree Ayshford is too good for the bench. I just believe the high up in our club think young Sironen is ready for NRL and will play mostly in the NRL side next season. For mine the best place to bring him into the top grade is in the centres. For mine Lawrence is too good a centre not to play there which leaves the other spot. Ayshford is a good centre and in my opinion should stay there. I just think he may be moved for young Sironen. If Dwyer is out our starting back row next year could be:

13\. Ayshford
12\. Blair
11 Ellis

Would be pretty handy and still have Fulton and Heinghtion for depth. Of course Heightion could start with either Ellis or Blair starting in the front row. Sheens has said in the past that Ellis may end up in the front row.

Forget Lawrence at 6, i really cant see it happening.

But lets look at some things regarding Lawrence as a fullback:

He would remind me of a prime Minichiello and Adam MacDougall.

His running game would similar to a Minichiello and Adam MacDougall

He has better hands than both those internationals.

He has better hole running ability than those two

He has a better kicking and passing game thsan those two.

His defense is rock solid.

Personally i'd like to see how he goes at 1 with a left side of Simona and Tuqiri. I think it would work great

i think you raise a very good point king sirro. well done. i'm salivating at the thought of it. slot reddy into the centres. but its so hard to do when i see the combination with marshall and lawrence this past friday night, it was awesome. is that as good as it gets?

Lawrence is class, and would be class in any spot.

I really like our left edge, Benji, Ellis, Lawrence and Lote…...why alter that,

i think fullback could be an issue, Im thinking next year will be a stop gap measure, the year after Tedessco will be the man

i personally think he could do well, however with that many halves/five eights to choose from i'd prefer see a younger guy given a go…

I definitely wouldn't want Benji at fullback. Yes he would have alot of room to move with the kick returns but imagine the other teams putting through little kicks. Benji would have to put his body on the line and would probably get smashed too often. I don't want to see that every week. He is the best five-eighth in the world. Please leave him there.

I don't think Lawrence will be moved to fullback. I don't know if you guys remember this but in 2007 and 2008 I kept saying that I wanted Sheens to try Lawrence at fullback (even just in the trials) but it never happened, so I don't think it will happen now since he is more bulky than he used to be. See how fast he is running onto balls outwide now? He is getting even better at centre in attack, and defense. Benji, Ellis, Lawrence, Lote on the left in attack - I wouldn't be changing that! I definitely wouldn't have him in the halves. He is a finisher, not a play maker.

I think Brown will be fullback next year. That tall fast bloke from union that we signed might be our backup fullback for next year if he puts on a bit more muscle.

I don't think I would want Ayshford at lock forward or second row. He has to be a bit more consistant in defense and we have enough good players that can play lock forward or second row. Ayshford is going ok in the centres anyway. If Reddy is our right centre then Ayshford might play right wing, but Ayshford will probably stay right centre and Reddy to the right wing. Reddy used to be a good finisher outwide on the right side.

We would have plenty of size in our backline with Lote and Lawrence on the left and Ayshford and Reddy on the right!

Also we shouldn't be changing our whole side around just to fit in Sironen. If it means he leaves the club then so be it.
