The usual trolls just love these emotive threads

We have pea hearts who tank and dog it… We have players who show the slightest bit of ability can't wait to get out... We have players undermine and knife others in the back....
.... And we have some here who give it to a bloke who gives it everything every time he takes the field

Well said Ink, totally agree.

100%. if he wasn't a first grader Ivan wouldn't pick him. This forum only highlights blokes that have no idea. Every club has a dozen clubman and Chris Lawrence is one of ours.

He has bugger all other options Ed and thats the point being made. Either try and keep up or get an adult to explain it to you.

You're here to rescue your pal. That's sweet but I appreciate at least an attempt to discuss Lawrence.

The dirty run is the old centre trying to break out in him. He doesn't have the speed though. Nofo does it with great effectiveness.
He knows where to be close to the line. That's why he scores but again, that's the old centre traits creeping back into his game.
As a forward. He is not big enough to bend the line.

We turned a world class centre that was injured into a mediocre 2nd rower because we couldn't offload him from a long contract.
That's the reality.

Don't know why you seem to have a bee in your bonnet today, but "reality" is that WT would have had his money in the cap each year until this one, regardless of whether we paid him out or not.

He is only here because we couldnt pay him out. Thats correct.
Do you think if we could he would still be here?? Of course not.
I'm actually in a great mood. Just some people don't want to discuss the topic and turn it into a slanging match because deep down they know i'm right.
Ink just jumps on any popular opinion but he knows he hasn't got anything to add. Yet I'm perceived the troll for actually sticking to the topic. Go figure.

You complain of people turning this into a slanging match yet throw sly pot shots at others
Youre offended at the troll term yet put your hand up and replied to my post where I pointed at no one…. Despite me "jumping on popular opinion as I've nothing to add"
Go back and read my opinion
You're a classic troll... You take the time to post 'I'm not worth your time' but I'm under your skin enough to be mentioned in an direct post by you....
Such a confused little troll

Not for a second do you get under my skin. I'm too busy to even give you a second thought.
I only come to this forum because I love my team and I want to win at all costs. If it means hurting people feeling then so be it.
You and your supporters must love battling it out for the spoon but I don't. I'm tired of us being a shit team and it's guys like Lawrence who may be a good bloke and bust his gut each week but that doesn't equate to success.

You love the term troll, it seems to be your go to word for those you don't agree with instead of debating the actual topic.
Tell me something positive about Chris Lawrence instead of attacking me. Prove to me he is worthy of a spot.
I'll wait.

Exactly.
We gave him the chance to negotiate with other clubs. Nothing happened. Even ESL that's the retirement village for has been NRL players showed no interest.
Chris prolonged his career by being cheap over a long period. He should have been dumped 5 years ago.
He isn't here because he is game breaking 2nd rower.
It was crappy backended deals that made it so hard to dump him.

Is he worth as much as McQueen? I actually think that he will outperform him next year, but time will tell.

Ink gets protected for being called out. What a sad state this place is.
Can't debate football logic.

 lol
You should see someone about this paranoia….. It's not healthy

I responded and the post was deleted.
It challenged you to talk about football. You're unable to debate the topic at hand.
Protected species around here much like Chris Lawrence.

Hahaha… A challenge...
I thought I wasn't worthy of your time... But here it seems like i'm taking up quite a bit of it, and on your mind....or under your skin.
See what a silly comment like "he'd qualify for a disability pension" can bring upon yourself?
There's nothing to debate.. We have our opinions... But as someone else pointed out, it's clearly personal for you.
Lol... Let it go

LMAO Rowdy is as good a second rower as Cordner???
I have officially now heard it all.

You haven't heard the half of it.
Whether you believe it or not is immaterial - the point is I believe it.

If Cordner was as good as a lot of people think - he'd be a superstar.

He is not - just a very ordinary battering ram with no talent that occasionally is in the right place to put the ball over the line.

As a great second rower and NSW captain - he makes a great bricklayer.

Give me Rowdy any day - now you have heard some more but not it all.

This is trolling lol.

Chris Lawrence still runs great lines ( despite the quality, or lack there of, of balls thrown to him) and still pulls off great defence. To write him off now is way premature , and he is the greatest club man across all clubs I can think off. Personally, I think he should be captain next year. I love him wearing our colours this year, next and hopefully beyond. Having said that, Ivan will make correct decisions going forward. We are in good hands, and I love it. 100% on the bus.
