Lawrence/Tuiaki/Dwyer

He has been a shadow of his former self. He can still run good lines and tackle head-on but his speed is gone. His best hope of reinventing himself would be to move into the back row. He has the build for it.

Yep, and by the sounds of it, JT is open to it. Think he could turn into Luke Lewis version 2.0.

so i'm prepared to give him the first 5-6 rounds to see if anything has changed. I just hope that if he has the same problems the coach either puts him in reserves or he decides to retire.

The club has been stooped in mediocrity for so long. I'm just interested in them winning and if I bag Lawrence in a game its not because it personal.

Maybe Lawrence should have retired knowing how much the injury has affected him and given the club some salary cap relief.

You are kind of contradicting yourself - should he have retired already, or do you give him a few months of play in 2015?

I have been stating i think Lawrence is finished for 18 months. I would have dropped him long ago. I would not be playing him in the centres in first grade, i have been saying that since 2012.

However the coach and the man himself reckon its the first time he has had a full pre season and is fully fit. So its obvious that he will be given an opportunity, so lets how it goes i suppose is what I am saying. It's really the last chance saloon with no more excuses.

I reckon his speed is gone and young centres will carve him up.
