he had a couple of opportunities today to hit the ball at pace and break through the line, but he hesitated and backed away…

maybe im being a bit harsh... but today he definitely wasnt the same lawrence I've seen run the ball in the past few years..

hope he starts hitting the ball harder and faster, he needs to back himself more....

It was seen on fox that Lawrence' shoulder was heavily strapped. Pretty sure this injury occurred on the four nations tour. This could explain the missed tackles and the hesitation in his game at the moment. Hope it's 100% asap…..

He didnt get any decent ball and people are having a go at him. Seriously??? What was he meant to do, make a 5m leap over the three players in front of him each time he got the ball.

He had some off-season surgery I believe? He was on Fox Sports a few weeks back, talking about recovering from the injury he sustained during the Four Nations and how it curtailed his pre-season training.

thats not true.. he received plenty of good balls where usually he'd make something of the opportunity.. he didnt against the sharks though…

not having a go at him or questioning his potential. just talking about his performance in this game.

Have to agree here, regardless of whatever quality ball he saw, the Sharks locked him out of the movement very quickly. I was sitting at the northern end of the LR stand and in the second half, every time we got close to the line, he was shut out when we moved to the left. They had his number.
