Lawrence

We are a 6-12 point better side with Lawrence playing, IMO.

Yup and about 50 running metres better off most weeks

Big loss. Simona for me in his place. If Benji gives him the same space as he gave Lawrence last night, he could be dangerous.

lawrence was amazing again last night, and I echo every one elses thoughts, we will miss him greatly.

our record with him in is 6 from 8 or something and 5 from 12 with him out

contained gasnier amazingly all night.

here is something that i noticed,
our defence was up and rushing all the time and dragons didn't realise to kick behind the line until late.
but, everytime they threatened to go long, Lawrence ALWAYS had the speed to turn around and tackle.
E.g. Nightingale fluffed the ball, but IMO he wouldn't have scored coz Lawrence was there.
this is something that has allowed Tigers to rush up in defence.

however, he doesn't read inside passes well, there have been sometimes where a man gets to his outside, then either offloads or passes back inside. he tries to get his man, but sometimes you gotta leave him for the winger. just an observation.

The young guy is an utter professional know knows his body and its recovery. He will be back when ready and do everything possible to get there.

Surely Brown will get first crack in the centres

Surely this is Browns last roll of the dice?

I feel terribly bad for the kid, never puts a foot wrong, but gets outed by players who make mistakes he wouldn't

If I was Brown and watching last nights game on TV I would have probably thrown something through it by now watching the mistakes moltzen made.

Well I was wrong. Sunday footy show saying out for 3-4 weeks. :frowning:

On the bright side he got is through our hardest period.

i'm not a fan of his at centre or wing to be honest.
i think he is much more composed at fullback.

tough year for lawrence this year.
missed origin and would hate to see him miss out on the finals.
hope he recovers quickly and waves goodbye to injury for the rest of the year.

type of athlete and person that you simply hope the best for in all aspects of life.
hope he becomes a captain of this club one day.
and the type of person that the nrl should look at as making the face of the nrl.
