Fastest kid at our club would be an unknown 18 year old from qld, winger training with jersey Flagg, he is I think the 3rd fastest kid in Australia for his age group, Jordan can’t remember his last name, has run 10 . 20 something officially but word is he is the quickest including everybody in the club. Recent clocking in Canterbury cup indicates Dillon has just got it over scolari, testing was apparently over 40 meters, these two were apparently a bit ahead of the others. I’ll try to get some more info over the weekend.

Thanks. The young centre or second row forward from Ballina looks very Pacey for such a big frame. That Larry Corowa was instrumental in his recruitment is a good indication of his talent.

Speed tests listed on board at CC training this week over 40 metres.

Scolari 10.1 metres per second. Top speed off the charts.

Dillon 9.5m per sec.

Both athletes and very quick. Get either in the clear and not many will catch them.

Interestingly Nofa was clocked @9.9 m per sec last season so not as slow as some might think.

Per schoolboy website Scolari did 22.3secs for 200 metres so can do it over longer distances.

Nofa has the experience and enough speed for mine so should be our first choice and alsoTop 30 of course. Both kids still learning their trade and not eligible for NRL.

Cini is no slouch either and would be my selection for a wing spot should Nofa get injured.

Defence helps - hard to find speed and good defence at the same time. Wingers’ lament!

10.2 is absolutely flying. What is his defence like?

Thanks tiggerman I was told Dillon clocked 9.9 m/sec and scholari 9.8 m/s, either way both are very quick , my mate on the conditioning staff gave both a big wrap as athletes as well, apparently jankovic, scolari and Dillon are all at a higher fitness level as well. No idea what the young kids is like defensively haven’t seen him play, just told that he is the quickest in the club . S

I’ve only seen a video that paws posted, but Scholari looks pretty solid in defence
Not sure about reading the play but definitely puts some power into his shots

Thanks for the update TM. Great to see we have some speedsters in the club & hopefully they make the grade with us some time in the next year.

Does anyone know similar speed test scores for guys like JAC, Xerri, etc.? Probably info that’s hard to find but it would be good to know.

Looking forward to the season opener and watching what this team has to offer. The brothers will hopefully add some sting to our game.

I came up with Leiluma 1st

U didn't patent it.....

Whoever came up with it, please don't mention it. There is nothing more cringeworthy than the Leipana, Broses etc hybrid names. Makes the flesh crawl for some reason. It sounds like something that would be in vogue at a 8 year old's netball game.
