OFFICIAL Liam Fulton [Discussion]

Maybe he was checking out what the gold coast has to offer? I hope not though… he prob just needed to get away a nice weekend in the Gold Coast always fixes what ails ya.

Balmain tiger i see where your coming from. And i think in the old days players were expected to always be there when injured. But i dont have a problem with this one. Its a long year and i think any chance a player gets to get away and clear his head is going to be good for him in the long run. Freshen him up a bit. Especially for someone like Liam who has a high workrate.

I think Liam was allowed leave to visit relatives….They have a life....

I reckon he'll be at Cambo on Friday MFL.....

unless he requested time off for personal reasons i believe that a player like him should be their supporting his team

Interesting…

Maybe he was at Newcastle, got a flight to the Goldie from Newy on Jetstar?

Hang on...Didnt someone say Scott Prince was at the Balmian Dinner? Wasnt Cartwright the City Coach?? Dont Jetstar Sponsor the Titans??? Oh, so do Jupiters Casino????

I smell a rat...

I believe that Benson told us last week that Liam was going to spend time with his grandfather up at the GC … sheesh, you get the first hand info, dont' bother reading it, then have a go about his loyalty to the team. I hope he's recuperating well up there and will be back, totally recovered as soon as poosible.

as i said i was in qld.. i had no knowledge that he was there as i had no net on my holiday

Better to fully rehab the injury though Alad.

I am sick of rushing players back only to see them reinjure and be out for longer.

We are testing our depth and thats what you need to do in an NRL season

Fulton (29yo, 90 odd games) at the moment but in a year or so I think Flanagan is the future (23yo, 20 odd games EPL and NRL). To get them in the same lineup I reckon one of them playing that 17 role would be good for the back we waste on there every week.

The answer is Simon Dwyer…

I'm not sure there's room for either Flanagan or Fulton in a full strength team (knowing that Sheens will always have a back on the bench, ridiculous as I think it is):

8\. Bryce Gibbs
9\. Robbie Farah
10\. Keith Galloway
11\. Gareth Ellis
12\. Todd Payten
13\. Chris Heighington

14\. Andrew Fafita
15\. Junior Moors
16\. Simon Dwyer
17\. Blake Ayshford

Fulton. His defense late in the game is invaluable.

14\. Payten
15\. Flanagan
16\. Fifita
17\. Dwyer

Big strong bench - good attack and good D.

I think your right & that is our strongest looking team IMO
I just hope Sheens sees it that way & dosen't drop Dwyer for Fulton
