Like a broken record..

You lucky bugger 🙂 supercoach, having a 2-month break from the 😢 attached to following our mob atm.
Have a great holiday and stay safe.
You might have some interesting stories to tell us when you get back.
That would be nice because it's bound to still be the same old shit here when you get back.

The only teams to ever get a spoon three-peat were Newcastle 2015-7 and Sydney University, who won four spoons in a row in the 1930s ... before they were dropped from the comp.

Annoyed how the Tiges screwed this up so badly, but it's done now. The club maintained its virtue and hired a rookie coach. Benji was somehow supposed to not need years of experience that all other coaches need to be first grade standard. And it's not like he was known as a super smart player like Cronk or Slater.

Will the Tigers survive four successive spoons? With a rookie coach, a four-peat looks very possible, especially now that Parra have hired a good new coach and Titans improving under Hasler. I'd love to be wrong.
You need to take a look at the spoon history of the Para-sites.

They have won 5 in a row and in one 10 year period actually won the spoon 8 times.

Mind you there is every possibility of us beating this record given time as we look like getting our third in the not too distant future.

Looking at our heritage we can see the record of our foundation clubs with Western Suburbs accumulating 18 wooden spoons and Balmain with 4, I suppose that anything is possible.

I'm too tired and too old and stress about the tigers too much to stay any more. Not because I don't care but because I care about my health more. Too many years of the same lines and same results. It feels like a conspiracy to make the tigers unsupportable.
Very few players want be there and players want overs to go there. Galvin will develop and leave the fainus will leave steph the myth will leave and become steph the legend. There is something wrong with the club. A gypsy curse sits heavy on it
Great post feel the same

Spot on , i was all for Flanno but we had to many people saying he is the wrong fit , just look at the Drags , moving up the ladder nicely , and if they get to the GF. Flanno would be coach of the year , they will make the 8 is my prediction , not bad for his first year , where are we. Ohh that’s right last same as always , I’m also thinking even Richo may have lost his touch as I see absolutely no change , The owners cleaned the joint out not Richo he come later , so my over all look at his performance so far is lip service only and Benji last year and this year overall. Worst coach in the comp
It was only 1 or 2 people. The consigulary of the club - Pascal and Lee

Anyone expecting Richo to turn this place around in one year is dreaming. We’ve got the youngest team in the NRL, some great players coming here next year . We aren’t far away.
You said some great players coming next year.
LUAI is one, TURUVA the other, And I do not rate him as anything other than an ordinary winger, which we already have very ordinary wingers, so who are the other great players coming here next year,
Maybe it's time for the idea of the West Tigers to shut shop.
And simply give up.

The Tigers are an invaluable feeder club for the Roosters, Parra and others. The Tigers' job is to give youngsters FG experience when they are too green to play for a major club. Once they are ready, Roosters and other strong clubs pick them up with lowball offers, with the promise that their footballing life will improve. The cap can't help with that.

I cant believe we had Cleary.... the players didn't sack.him.did they?
No in his words he left because his Son was good enough to make him a premiership winning coach.
I wonder what Galvins history is with Brad Arthur? Maybe he will be keen to continue to coach the next Cleary?

do you realistically think we could get Crichton or Hargreaves or any quality player to come to us at the same price that they would go to the top tear clubs?

no…. But that doesn’t change my point …or excuse overpaying Klemmer and Bateman …. Both with more time on their contracts to come

As long as they are relying on rushing juniors through who obviously are too small, slow etc the Tigers are going nowhere. The Tigers got lucky with Galvin and Sam Fainu but dont expect the same from the rest. Benji himself was brought through too early , too small and had multiple shoulder reconstructions because of it. He should know better, if not, he is fooling himself and the club

Ryles hasn't done a thing yet. Every chance Parra are rubbish next year too, esp with the rapid aging of their roster.

I reckon it would be lovely if Richo was to show his head to all and sundry to give Us All a bit of confidence and to keep Our chins UP.

No coach turns this around without better players right through the grades. We were/ are fighting for the wooden spoon against Parramatta and you would be hard pressed to find any coach who if they had the choice between the two rosters would take us over Parramatta.
This roster/ club sets all coaches up to fail hence why the targets were thanks but no thanks.
Exactly
I just want the club to leave the coach in his job for the planned duration of the contract.
Swapping Coaches hasn’t done us any good in what the last 6 coaches.
What’s all the love for Brad Arthur have a look at the roster he had at the Eels and how they were playing for him this year.
