To be any chance for game against Rabbitohs
wests- tigers will have to limit opportunities given to:

Chris Sandow, we know he is playing well and has been causing a bit of havoc.
have some one on him and up and in his face all game.
.
don't let Inglis have any room to move.
he is getting more confident each week, and no doubt is due to put in some very good performances, as Origin rep season is coming up.
it would be nice to have a repeat scoreline against rabbitohs, just like earlier this year.

don't get too carried away with the good win today against the raiders
_souths have been a problem for wests-tigers, and if treated lightly will continue to do so._
 
They are the ones that need to worry about their game plan. After our last clash the bunnies will be in two minds all game which will allow us to reverse that score from the SCG last year.
 
Rabbitohs are going great, it's good to see.
Sandow is improving.
They're one of the most entertaining teams in the comp and this will be a hard one to win.

I don't think they are "going great" at all. They've had a few good games, the Manly one being the big stand out. Even on Friday, they should have been crushed the way they started that game, the Sharks just collapsed. An intercept try changed that entire match, I didn't really see alot of impressive things about them.

They're a lazy team that when they feel confident play very very well. Will they feel confident, and will we even give them an opportunity to feel confident? We didn't last time and it worked, and we did at the SCG and we got hammered. Up to us.
 
If i'm not mistaken, Inglis and Sandow both played in the drubbing we gave them, 30-6.

Ayshford at 100% should be able to defensively handle Inglis, or to quote the movie Invictus,

"When you Tackle him, Just hang on, and help will come"

Sandow is an overconfident smarmy git, who is going to receive his comeuppance soon, and who better to smash it out of him than Galloway, Fifita, Heighington, Ellis, Dwyer and Gibbs. Next time we see him celebrate a try 10m out from the try line, I would love nothing more than to see him drop the ball, or the chasing defender get a burst of speed and knock the ball free.

Inglis needs to be contained in a defensive area we are lacking - out wide, Sheens will be smart enough to shift players to cover him. Sandow -pfft, knock him down a few times and he will go under.
 
Souths without there big boppers (Asotasi and Burgess) they will struggle without go forward and Sandow and Sutton are uneffective without go forward . If we win forwards we win game simple Also factor in the return of Ellis , Payten and Gibbs .
 
Being high up in the SFS stands at the last game against Souths it really struck me how podgy Sandow was lost out in the centres not only when defending but also for the first few sets when souths had the ball after a turnover.

Lately though he seems to be trimmer, fitter and someone who like Inglis shouldn't be underestimated.

Inglis re-injured the same hip he had surgery on in the off-season. Not sure how bad it is, but he would have to be in serious doubt for next week and i don't think Souths will risk him.
 
Yes I know everyone's getting excited by all these injuries to Souths players but same thing happened last year and we got beaten by them Sometimes for the players it is easier to focus when you are playing full strength teams than injury hit teams . Blokes come in that you don't know much about and it sometimes can actually be harder

I gree with this however anyteam without Inglis is worse off than with him in it…
 
Sandow having signed with Parra and not on good terms with Crowe will work in our favor he will have a shocker and if GI is out we are a very good chance for the 2 points.
 
What it does do is rob Souths of at least 3 players (Burgess, Asotasi and Inglis) who are all over 100kg and 3 of their biggest name players.

The Tigers will be all too aware of what happened last year and I think we will see a different Tigers outfit that will look to kick and chase well like they did against Souths a few weeks ago and snuff them out of the game with their defence, which will lead to points once again.

QUEENSLAND and South Sydney fans can breathe a sigh of relief - Kangaroos centre Greg Inglis has pulled up fine from the hip injury that forced him from the field in Friday night's Test win against New Zealand.

Inglis was limping heavily in the team hotel after the 20-10 victory but remained hopeful the damage was minimal. ''I'm all right,'' he told The Sun-Herald. ''I'll have scans on Monday but I should be OK.''

Inglis woke up yesterday surprisingly upbeat and is confident of not just returning to the field for the first State of Origin match on May 25 at Suncorp Stadium, but being fit to play for Souths on Saturday night against the Wests Tigers.

''I got hold of Greg this afternoon and he said he'd woken up with very little pain and was walking around fine,'' his manager, Allan Gainey, said.

''He iced it all night and said he was reasonably confident it wasn't anything serious.''

Inglis felt a twinge in the same hip last week but still played for Souths against Cronulla.

He injured his hip early in the Anzac Test at Skilled Park and attempted to play on but was clearly troubled by the injury and eventually succumbed, watching the rest of the match while icing the joint.

It is the same hip that was operated on in the off-season and was one of the main reasons Inglis was a little slow out of the blocks when he joined his new club. The injury meant he was off his feet for much of the off-season.

The Australian side's doctor, Paul Annett, said Inglis might miss a few weeks of football if tomorrow's scans revealed significant damage. That would reduce his chances of playing in the first State of Origin match.

''It's the hip he had surgery on in the off-season,'' Annett said. ''He got caught in a bad position and was obviously in enough pain that he couldn't go back out. Sometimes they pull up OK, sometimes they don't.

''It's a little bit hard to say how long he'll miss. You have an operation and things are still a bit raw for quite a few months.

''Sometimes you just see guys come back from operations and they get over-stretched in a position.

''Things are a bit raw - maybe it just stretches, bleeds, hurts, but it might not be so bad in a day or two.

''It stopped a very good player going back on the paddock, so I'd imagine there'll be a couple of weeks in it.''

Souths, who have won three of their opening eight matches, have had a horror run this year with forwards Sam Burgess (ankle), Luke Stuart (knee) and Scott Geddes (knee) sustaining long-term injuries.
