Littlejohn

didnt he get like 8 missed tackles?

i saw nothing that said he should be our starting or even bench hooker

back to reserve grade if brooks is back - he was okay. a good replacement, nothing more

Perfect fill-in and for a 7 to seamlessly come into the team say a lot about Littlejohn and how the squad trains. His strength is his kicking game, when he got the opportunity he was excellent. He just lacks a bit a pace for mine….

Certainly happy to have him there while Brooks is out. Been very solid in his limited opportunities in firsts.

Yes selections today were poor but we scrambled well with 2 players down …but we can't go without a hooker on the bench next week either cherrington or the crow backflips on this fiasco and selects Farah. Especially if Lawrence is in doubt.

For heavens sake what's wrong with you guys, why do you want to keep changing the team around.
Yesterday we WON and won well, if possible the team next week should be EXACTLY the same as won yesterday. :crazy

seriously people read too much into stats these days. for instance there was a play where moses rushed up out of the line on tamou, he hit him hard but fell off in a one on one. however the impact brought tamou to the ground and he only made another meter or so before our forwards stopped him in his tracks.

that goes down for a missed tackle by moses but he did his job. unless a missed tackle leads to a line break, try it doesnt mean much.

Get a clue you blokes…. He also "made" 23.
- effective at about 75% (Same as Teddy, Close to Nof)

He's in his second game in firsts for the year (7th in all - and against arguably the best pack in the comp)

I'd be more worried about the 6 that Lawrence missed.
Littlejohn would be a great back up hooker and wouldn't be surprised to see him take a bench spot when Brooks is back.

Was solid. Dropped a ball on a switch play early in the game which, cost us a try and he dummied and ran too much. His kicking game in the second half was pretty good. ave to be happy with a reserve grader coming in and playing to this level. Certainly Brooks should be back in as soon as he is ready.

are you legitimately comparing a tackle % of a half to a fullback and winger??? get a clue mate.

also, 8/23 means a 65% tackle effectiveness for the game

moses tackles at 78% over the season for comparison.

im not saying little john is a bad defender, but theres a big difference between him being okay at half and playing hooker

i mean chad townsend completes tackles at 90%, but i aint putting him at hooker.

what he said

Very solid game
I thought Edwards defence was Great. Made plenty of multiple tackles. Around the legs constantly dropped players to ground hi workrate

The team loses nothing with this guy coming in. Great to have such a solid, steady reliable player as a replacement.
As A hooker? U wobbegongs just can't help but pretend u would make a better coach.
Looking good

It's a bit tough to say the drop cost us a try, there was still a lot of work to do. As for the dummying, I'd rather a bloke easing in to first grade take the line on themselves rather than forcing a pass if they're unsure. You nailed it with the next three lines though, strong kicking game and showed he was a capable enough foil to Moses while Brooks is out. He was never going to be asked to marshal the team around or orchestrate set plays, but he stuck to his role in the team and looked, as you said, solid in doing so.

our we talking about the same player, littlejohn done jack crap his defence was poor and he did little or nothing in attack, would have been better having another forward out there. i will re watch the game but really people.

I agree, i just dont think he is NRL standard and looked really out of place. I guess he deserves a second chance, first game back in NRL against the premiers at a packed leichardt would overwhelm a few people i think. On the other hand when Rankin had the ball in his hands and took the line i thought he looked really good, probably best gsme of the year. Id bring JAC on the wing, move rankin to half and have cherington or JLJ on the bench to cover Halatau.

JAC will not play NRL again this year even if he gets out of the Storm contract, unless we get a Second Tier cap exemption and nor will any others outside the top 25.

Or unless all 3 teams make the semifinals, then you can play whoever you want wherever you want.

Yeah only an idiot would make three or four unforced changes to a team that beat the premiers convincingly with 16 players

You pathetic little weasel, i told you to stop following me around from thread to thread. So scared to even quote me. Half the stuff you post is nonsense but i could not care less.

If in my opinion you imbecile i think we need to keep improving by adding or removing players then thats my opinion. anyone that has a different opinion needs to be subjected to your abuse and name calling then you will just cop it 10 times over. Now go away annoying fly.

Ease up mate, it's a fair comment.
Don't take things so personal.

I thought that this is a forum where people could express an opinion, but it seems like if someone disagrees with your opinion they have to unload so much venom it's sicking.
Anyone would think that we are coming last in the comp, not pushing for a semi berth.
Lighten up!!!!
