*LIVE DISCUSSION THREAD*

They looked much smarter than us, could see a well executed game plan unfolding for the roosters. We couldn't compete on that level either, bad decisions, bad defensive reads and poor execution again.

A few things you can always be sure of:

1\. Our kicking game will always be poor.
2\. Our backs will always try for intercepts over good defensive reads
3\. Anasta will always bag Taylor over Farah
4\. We will always struggle over big packs
5\. JWH will always play well against us
6\. Our line defence will always be poor.
7\. We always play dumb. E.g. The poor attempts to get of our line and we're pushed back into the in goal is just one example.

I don't mind losing but the above annoys the hell out of me.

Which other SOO player was "rested" by their coach this week? Not injured, but "rested". What the hell? Complete rank amateurs running the show at the Tigers. Disgraceful.

Business as usual pity the coach thought we would win without a specialist hooker on a wet day.

Based on this game, and only this game, Melbourne can have JAC….

What game were you watching mate? I thought he was one of our best - defended pretty well, ran the ball hard. Other than dropping that bomb late in the second half when the game was lost he did well. Can't blame him for the drop in those conditions.
You could tell the Rorters studied him and shut him down. If anything that shows how good he is, if opposing teams feel they need to watch film on him and develop a game plan to minimise his impact. When would you ever see an opposing side threatened by Nofo, Simona or Kev?

Halatau, Kev and Nofo need to go but it wont happen and we will keep losing. The coach cant seem to fix these players. Moses is twice the player Brooks is !

Nothing worse than listening to Anasta seemingly gloating that the rotters are in front.

It's really strange, for an ex-Tigers player - it's almost as though he wanted the Roosters to win?!

Yep, I rarely say anything regarding the coaching but the difference there was so obvious today.

Don't worry, he wasn't alone. Missed tackles, getting put out over the try line for not getting low on return, dropped bomb…. He was pretty ineffective as were a lot of players. But they aren't possibly going to Melbourne.... Hence the comment... Overall conditions suited the bigger team... Which we will never be.

I think it's become clear now that Nofo and Naiqama doesn't work. Naiqama is one of the worst defensive players i've ever seen. I think we should give Chee Kam a go in the centres. I've liked what i've seen from him so far.

Halatau is not at 1st grade level anymore and the penalty he gave away towards the end of the game was simply inexcusable.

I always get flamed for suggesting Lawrence is not up to it but I don't think he is. Neither is Lovett. They were simply dominated today.

Obviously with the top 25 there are limited things we can do this year, but to be competitive in the future there needs to be some fairly drastic changes.

As a final thought, Taylor not playing Farah was absolute lunacy. His short kicking game and runs from dummy half would have been valuable today. In my opinion Taylor should be the first person out the door. Look what Neil Henry has done with the Titans, a team that on paper are far weaker than us.

Halatau was great. He consistently made big tackles. Lovett was also fantastic.

Lawrence did struggle. Farah should have been out there.

Any one watching Fox will know how blast Anasta is. He makes me sick,

I hate listening to his dribble. How did he ever get a job as a commentator ? He's AWFUL. He's unbearable to listen too,has absolutely nothing of substance to say ever, :blah and he belittles the WT and sticks the boot in at every chance he gets.
I feel sorry for Warren Smith having him as his side kick.
