the win was great but I think it slightly papers over the cracks. Two lucky kick results and an individual effort for the tries. We still look clueless with ball in hand when attacking in the opposition 20m. Reynolds kicking for repeat sets and in general was first class although Brooks' kicking was hot and cold. Brooks still isnt the organising half although showed his strength tonight with his running game.

I thought it was a lazy/tired effort for their last try, he could have closed that gap and made better contact.

You take the win anyway you can get it - we were the better team last week and lost so it's nice to be on the other side of the ledger tonight. Still plenty of improvement in this team.
 
Was a really tough effort. Did loads of work in the first half and came back on just as refreshed in the second. Fitness paying off. Whole team was great, Mikaele looking like he could be anything. Even if we’d lost there were some great signs all round tonight.
 
To be fair to Darius he was the only Bronco up in the line to stop Brooks take the drop goal. He could probably have expected someone else to make a tackle… Although given our field goal record he would probably have been better off letting him take the shot.
 
He missed Bird for the first try too, but you take a win any way you get it, great effort boys
 
Brooks was better, running the ball, still not organising but much better, we play like that every week we will play finals footy
 
Loved that & it obviously rubs off on the team. Check out the celebrations after MCK’s try!

We did well to bounce back after last week, esp at 16 all
 
12 days off until we face the eels. Will help get some of the early season niggles out the way.
